    Elijah specializes in advising business owners and families on financial planning and investment matters, with a focus on pre-transaction planning. Prior to joining Alliance Bernstein in 2011, Elijah was a founder of Capital Business Partners, a boutique lending firm for small business owners. He is also a former founder and CEO of a middle market financial services and real estate company. Elijah holds a BA from the University of Pennsylvania and serves on the Executive Committee of the Association for Corporate Growth.

Prior to joining UBS he was with Bernstein Private Wealth Management, and prior to that, was previously a financial advisor at ING Financial Partners. He holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA®) designations. Ryan holds a BA from Wake Forest University and an MS from Villanova University.

          Michaela began her career in the finance industry after graduating from Susquehanna University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing. She is currently pursuing an MBA at Drexel University. Notably, Michaela has also passed the SIE, Series 7, Series 63, and Series 66 exams. Outside of work, Michaela enjoys reading, traveling, and running along Schuylkill River in Philadelphia.

              Jack is a Senior Wealth Strategy Associate with the Dornstreich DePaul team in the Philadelphia Office. He began his career at Vanguard as a Retirement Specialist and was most recently an Associate with Bernstein Private Wealth Management.

               Jack graduated with a B.B.A. in Finance from Loyola University of Maryland, and he currently holds his Series 7, 63, and 66 licenses.

               Outside of work, Jack is an active player and board member of the Schuylkill River Rugby Club; he also enjoys spending time with his family and watching Philadelphia sports.

                  Chris is a Wealth Planning Strategist in our Mid Atlantic markets. In this capacity, Chris is responsible for providing Financial Advisors and their high net worth clients with unbiased, product neutral, advanced planning strategies, design and implementation. As an advanced financial planner, he provides expertise in the following areas:

                  - Business continuity and succession planning
                  - Retirement plans and employee benefits
                  - Risk and liability management planning
                  - Charitable giving strategies
                  - Executive compensation and benefit strategies

                  Utilizing the wealth planning framework, Chris aims to deliver the full breadth of UBS services to aid clients in achieving their wealth planning goals.

                  Past experience
                  Prior to joining UBS in 2022, Chris served as a Senior Trust Officer with the Goldman Sachs Trust Companies. In this capacity, Chris worked closely with high net worth families to plan and implement generational wealth transfer strategies.

                  Education and credentials
                  Chris holds a B.A in History from Gettysburg College and a J.D. and LL.M., Taxation, from Villanova University School of Law.

                  Life
                  Chris is an active member of the Philadelphia Estate Planning Counsel. He lives in Philadelphia with his wife and son.

                  Executive Director

                  Philanthropy Advisory Group/Family Office Solutions Group

                  Brian Formento is an Executive Director and Head of Client Solutions and Investment Strategy in Family Office Solutions (FOS). Brian works with Advisors to deliver customized advice to clients of substantial financial wealth and coordinates cross-divisional coverage to ensure UHNW clients and family offices are properly covered by a team comprising relevant FOS specialists.

                  He also remains a member of the Portfolio Advisory Group specializing in asset allocation and portfolio construction advice for the family office segment, defining risk-based strategies and developing customized investment ideas for the largest clients at UBS. Brian previously was a key member of the Private Wealth Management Alternatives Advisory Board and Private Wealth Management Family Office Strategy Team.

                  Prior to UBS, Brian was a Managing Director and senior investment strategist for OTC derivatives and alternatives at Deutsche Bank. He also held senior positions at several private investment advisory firms and was head of proprietary fixed income trading North America and desk head of the primary dealer at Paribas Capital Markets, now BNP Paribas.


                  Brian graduated magna cum laude and with distinction, receiving a B.A. and M.A. in Economics from Boston University. He is a past chair and member of the Economic Department's Board of Advisors for the college and graduate school. Brian, a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) is a member of the Structured Products Association (SPA) and the Professional Risk Managers' International Association (PRIMA). More recently, Brian has been an industry contributor to curriculum development for the CFA program and has completed Wharton's Private Wealth Executive Education Program and Columbia University’s Earth Institute Investment Academy on Sustainability. He is a trustee for Historic Morven in Princeton, New Jersey. He currently holds the following registrations: 7,24,3,63,66,55, and Life and Health Insurance.

                  Scott is currently the Alternative Investment Consultant supporting the Philadelphia / Washington D.C/Charlotte, Mid-Atlantic, Atlanta, Florida, and South Central Markets. Prior to joining UBS, Scott held a number of senior positions in Alternative Investments: Director of Business Development and Product Management at Alpha Capital, Principal at HSN Financial Services, and Managing Director at Fairfield Heathcliff Capital. Earlier in his career, Scott was an Associate in fixed income sales at Citigroup, and an Analyst at Morgan Stanley.

                  Sheree joined UBS Bank USA in 2016 and she is currently a Senior Wealth Management Banker covering the Atlanta Market, Atlanta PWM, Charlotte PWM, Philadelphia PWM, Southern Virginia and the Carolinas offices.

                  Leveraging her extensive background in relationship banking, Sheree is focused on providing Financial Advisors and their clients with a variety of banking and lending options, where suitable, to complement their overall wealth management objectives. By presenting both asset and liability management strategies, Sheree is able to highlight all that UBS Bank USA has to offer and ensure awareness of opportunities on both sides of the balance sheet.

                  Sheree began her career in financial services in 1994. Prior to joining UBS, Sheree spent five years as a Private Banker at Morgan Stanley. Sheree has held positions as a Commercial Lender for BB&T and Wachovia. She also served as a Market Executive for Coastal Banking Company.

                  Sheree resides in Sandy Springs, Georgia with her husband Kendall, a 2x IRONMAN and 11x 70.3 IRONMAN, and has fun crewing for his IRONMAN events.

                  Senior Strategist - Family Advisory and Philanthropy Services

                  Professional History
                  As part of the UBS Family Advisory and Philanthropy Services team, Elizabeth serves as a thought partner to advisors and their client families on wealth transition, family governance, and philanthropy as families seek guidance on cohesive dialogue between generations to perpetuate their legacy.

                  Prior to joining UBS, Elizabeth served in a dual capacity as President of the Neuberger Berman Foundation and Head of Corporate Social Responsibility from 2012 to 2019, leading all aspects of Neuberger Berman’s global philanthropic efforts, with a focus on education, workforce development and employee engagement. In 2018 she launched the firm’s client Philanthropic Advisory Services practice and co-chaired the firm’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Advisory committee from 2012 to 2016. She also served as a board member of the Neuberger Berman Foundation from 2009 – 2019.

                  Prior to this, Elizabeth worked at Lehman Brothers as a Senior Vice President of Corporate Philanthropy with a focus on the arts and strategic community partnerships. Before this, Elizabeth spent ten years at HSBC North America, where she served in various leadership roles in strategic planning; internal consulting; and community and philanthropic services. Elizabeth began her career in the audit group at Coopers & Lybrand LLP as a Certified Public Accountant. Liz is also Series 7 and 63 licensed.

                  Community Leadership
                  Elizabeth serves as Vice Chair of the New York City Youth Board, which advises the Department of Youth and Community Development on its programs. She is also a member of the Executive Committee of Enterprise Community Partners New York Advisory Board, whose mission is helping families find safe, affordable housing, connected to opportunity.

                  Education

                  Elizabeth has a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a Master in Public Policy from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
