Senior Vice President–Wealth Management
Financial Advisor
Don began his career in Financial Services in 1989 with IDS. He joined Merrill Lynch in 1995 and has over 27 years of investment management experience. Don is a Certified Financial Planner™ professional (CFP®); a designation awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc., and also holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) designation. At UBS, Don has earned the distinction of Portfolio Manager within the UBS Portfolio Management Program, as well as that of Retirement Plan Consultant. As a Portfolio Manager, Don offers personalized, discretionary investment management using defined investment strategies. Notably, Retirement Plan Consulting services are currently offered by only 550 UBS Financial Advisors. With in-depth training in this area, Don can work with you to evaluate your current 401k and 403b plans, and help determine if your plan can benefit from enhancements without changing providers. He'll advise on investment selection and review, assess plan expenses, recommend and establish new plan features as well as educate and prepare employees for retirement.
My passion is fueled by knowing I can make a positive difference in the lives of the families and organizations I serve—not only professionally, but also outside of UBS. If I'm not volunteering at my church or organizing a fundraiser, you'll probably find me at the rink coaching my sons' hockey teams. Occasionally, when my schedule permits, I may take in some quiet time on the lake or golf course.
