Managing Director–Wealth Management
David Justman is a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager with UBS Wealth Management. We build and manage investment portfolios on behalf of clients, applying a long-term investment approach focused on seeking to minimize the volatility of returns and preserving wealth. We offer a broad range of customized wealth management strategies to institutions and high net worth retail clients – leveraging the intellectual capital and research capabilities of UBS Wealth Management. Daily meetings are scheduled to update team members about pertinent client issues and market conditions. David has spent his entire career in the securities and investment industry, starting in 1976. Before joining UBS in 2015, David was a Senior Managing Director at J.P. Morgan Securities and its predecessor firm, Bear Stearns, for 28 years. Prior to that, David held positions as a broker and financial advisor to private clients at PaineWebber as well as CA-based investment banking and brokerage firm Bateman, Eichler, Hill, Richards.
As an active participant in the community, David sits on several boards. He is past President of the Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs (JINSA), based in Washington, D.C.; a member of the Board of Directors of the Committee for Accuracy in Middle East Reporting in America (CAMERA), Los Angeles; and a member of the Advisory Board of Fuel for Truth in New York City. David has been an Adjunct Professor at UCLA teaching investments and finance for 25 years. Since 2008, David has co-chaired an annual Holiday Appeal that has raised and distributed more than $1 million to wounded warriors and other deserving veteran families suffering economic hardships. David and his wife Laura have two adult sons and one grandson.
