Affluent individuals come to us for help with goal-setting, retirement planning, investment management. They want personal attention from their family's advisor. They want an experienced CFP® practitioner. I believe they feel better after we help them create a formal retirement income plan, if not a complete wealth management plan.
Our core process is Goals-Based Wealth Management. Its all centers on you, the client. First, "Understand Your Life” describes what is most important to you: family, home, work, health, leisure, giving. We help clients to frame these hopes as financial objectives. Your goals are documented in writing and modified as your life changes. Second, our "Disciplined Investment Process” is driven by your goals, investment personality and risk profile. We hold formal reviews with you of investment progress to goals and we make adjustments as appropriate. Third, we practice "Transparency of Results and Fees” meaning cost and performance reporting.
Communication is essential to any relationship and we have multiple methods. We prefer face-to-face meetings, but we also like to use online web meetings.
My financial advisory career began in 2004 after twenty years of success at Schlumberger and Halliburton, where I worked in field operations, technical sales, product development and strategic planning. Before this I served as a US Army active duty infantry officer.
I feel these varied life experiences help me show empathy for my clients whose work and family fill their day. They seek an advisor to help them organize the present and plan for the future.
