Frank Cannon, a 1983 graduate of the University of Delaware, joined UBS in 1987. In 1994 Frank earned Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) designation awarded by the Investment Management Consultants Association completing a rigorous academic program focusing on asset allocation, manager search, investment policy and performance measurement and is taught at the Wharton School of Business. In 2011, he earned Certified Private Wealth Advisor (CPWA), an advanced credential for wealth managers and advisors who work with high-net-worth clients offered at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Mr. Toohey began his career with UBS in 1985. He earned the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) designation from the Investment Management Analyst Association at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Toohey holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Baltimore and he earned the Certified Private Wealth Advisor (CPWA), an advanced credential for wealth managers and advisors who work with high-net-worth clients offered at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. A proud graduate of Villanova University, he earned a BS in Accounting, and of Calvert Hall College.
Philip is a frequent speaker on topics relating to nonprofit endowment management. He has taught numerous training seminars conducted by the Maryland Nonprofits Association and served as Chairman of the Board of the Bon Secours Baltimore Health System.
Joining UBS Financial Services in 2012, Christopher Connolly currently oversees the wealth management business in downtown Baltimore where he works closely with his financial advisors and the clients they serve. Previously he led the market for Morgan Stanley and Smith Barney in Delaware and Southeastern Pennsylvania. Throughout his career as a manager, Chris has won a number of awards and accolades. In 2011 he was given the Morgan Stanley award for Leadership Excellence. He's been asked to serve on numerous firm councils including recruiting, hiring, and diversity.
Prior to beginning a career in finance, Chris spent 5 seasons as a professional baseball player in the Kansas City Royals organization. Active in the community, he has served on several boards and coached a number of youth sports teams. He has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Radford University.
Jia Jia Zhu is responsible for investment research and analysis, client meeting preparation and client service support. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Towson University's College of Business and Economics. She is a candidate for the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Level 2 and is a Series 7 and Series 66 Registered Representative.
A 2014 graduate of The Smeal College of Business of The Penn State University where he studied Risk Management and Finance. Mike is responsible for client service, team compliance and administration. Mike is a Series 7 and Series 66 Registered Representative.
Mike is referred to as the "engine room" of our practice. "I enjoy working with our clients and solving their problems. I have become familiar with the families, I know their preferences and try to provide the best service possible."
