Clarence is responsible for serving the needs of families and foundations across the Western United States. His specialties include portfolio management, personal financial planning, philanthropic consulting, board member education and asset protection strategies.
Prior to his arrival at UBS, Clarence worked in both institutional and private banks where he managed portfolios for corporations, family offices, municipalities, insurance companies, foundations, endowments and Taft-Hartley plans. During this time Clarence held roles as a senior member of his firms' investment team to determine strategic and tactical asset allocation guidance and the Investment Management Executive Committee, which focused on creating products and solutions to meet client needs.
Clarence is the current President of the Del Norte Rotary Club, the Vice Chairman of the Executive Board of the Great Southwest Council of Boy Scouts of America. He is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) practitioner, holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and is a veteran of the US Army’s 82nd Airborne Division.
