Every day Don Chomas relishes the ability to help the people he cares about to enjoy a better life. As a Certified Financial PlannerTM professional, he believes that starting with a comprehensive, written financial plan—one that addresses both the good and not-so-good aspects of his clients' financial lives—is the foundation for helping high net worth families build upon the successes they've achieved. Don's solid educational foundation (B.A. with Honors in Finance and Accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University), his experience across a wide variety of market conditions over nearly three decades, and a keen understanding of how to leverage the vast resources of UBS enable him to help his clients confidently make difficult decisions and weather challenging economic conditions.
In addition to serving his clients, philanthropy is a top priority for Don and his family. In 2011, Don founded Naptown barBAYq, a BBQ contest and music festival near Annapolis that benefits many local charities. He is also a Past President of the Rotary Club of Parole (Annapolis). Currently a volunteer soccer coach, an active member in his church and the captain of his platform tennis team, Don continues to find new outlets to engage with and help the people and causes he cares about most.
Don, his wife, Molly, and their daughters, Madaline and Isabel, live in Kensington, MD. When not volunteering together or running around on a soccer field, the family enjoys spending time outdoors with their two Siberian huskies.

Driven by a desire to make a difference in people's lives, and armed with a degree in finance and economics, it's no surprise that Russell chose a career in financial services. As a Certified Financial PlannerTM professional, Russell believes that the key to success is gaining a full understanding of everything a client hopes to accomplish—enjoying retirement, funding a loved one's education, leaving a lasting legacy, among other things. He also believes that a thorough evaluation of both assets and liabilities is critical to building a truly comprehensive plan.
Russell started his financial services career in 2002 and in 2004 became a financial analyst at Smith Barney. In this role he helped to create hundreds of financial plans, which gave him unique insight into the myriad of solutions and strategies that can help increase the likelihood of meeting one's goals. He has leveraged this experience since becoming a Financial Advisor in 2007, helping his clients navigate good and bad market cycles, all while keeping their end goals in mind.
Russell graduated from the honors program at the University of Maryland with a double major in finance and economics. He currently lives in North Potomac, Maryland, with his wife and two sons. Russell loves spending time with his family and is a huge sports fan. Having spent most of his life in the DC area, he roots for all the local sports teams.

In 2015, after spending his first two years of college in the warm states of Florida and South Carolina, Peter decided to transfer to Columbia College Chicago (where he got considerably paler). The move proved to be successful though, as Peter made the Dean’s list every semester he attended at Columbia. During his time in Chicago, he also worked after school as an assistant basketball coach for a local University.
After graduating in 2017, Peter worked in the service industry while pursuing a career in the arts. It was here that he developed his skills in customer satisfaction, time management, and attention to detail. When his restaurant closed in 2020, Peter decided to apply those skills elsewhere and entered the financial industry. In the fall of 2020 he obtained his Life and Health Insurance license and began working as a successful agent. He later became a Registered Representative and is Series 6 and 63 licensed.
Peter is a life-long Bethesda resident. He enjoys sports, creative writing, trips to the beach and spending time with his friends and family.
Joey is the newest member of the team. He graduated from the St. Mary's College of Maryland in 2021 with a degree in Economics and a minor in business. After graduating, Joey began his professional career as a risk analyst at Morgan Stanley. Interested in wealth management, Joey changed positions in 2023, joining UBS. He is currently becoming licensed to meet all the needs of clients and continue to grow in the workforce.
Joey grew up in Calvert County, MD and will be moving to Bethesda soon. While he isn't driving to or from work, he enjoys going to the gym, cooking, and playing chess.

Depending on where you are in your life and the priorities that matter most, our planning conversations may focus on liquidity management, your cash flow needs, asset replacement solutions such as insurance, estate planning strategies, or tax and legal structures such as trusts and philanthropic vehicles.
What’s really important to you—today and for the long term? UBS Wealth Way starts with questions and discussions that can help you organize your financial life into three key dimensions: Liquidity—to help provide cash flow for short-term expenses, Longevity—for longer-term needs and Legacy—for needs that go beyond your own.

Legacy. strategies that UBS Financial Services Inc. and our Financial Advisors can use to assist clients in exploring and pursuing their wealth management needs and goals over different time frames. This approach is not a promise or guarantee that wealth, or any financial results, can or will be achieved. All investments involve the risk of loss, including the risk of loss of the entire investment. Time frames may vary. Strategies are subject to individual client goals, objectives and suitability.
