Financial Advisor
Cary Biren is a Managing Director and Financial Advisor at UBS, where he specializes in providing customized, fee-based investment management solutions for his clients. Prior to UBS, Mr. Biren was a Managing Director and Wealth Manager at First Republic Investment Management. Before joining First Republic Bank in 2006, Mr. Biren worked as a Financial Advisor in the Beverly Hills offices of A.G. Edwards and Merrill Lynch.
Active in his community, Mr. Biren is a past President and board member of the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation in Los Angeles. Mr. Biren currently volunteers at Encino Little League as a coach and is a former member of ELL's Executive Board. As VP and Head of Baseball Operations, Mr. Biren helped over 700 children enjoy America’s pastime each season in an environment that promotes outstanding sportsmanship and citizenship. Mr. Biren is currently a member of the Investment Committee at Wilshire Boulevard Temple.

Alen joined UBS Wealth Management in 2024 as a Client Service Associate. He began his career at UBS in 2023 as a Branch Technology Liaison and holds his Series 7 and 66 licenses. Prior to joining UBS, he was an entrepreneur and had started a marketing company called Nexum Holdings LLC. Nexum would operate social media accounts and produce content for influencers and online businesses. Alen worked directly with clients to develop and execute marketing strategies to maximize their online presence and increase sales.
Alen earned his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a concentration in Financial Analysis from California State University of Northridge. Throughout his college career he established an investing community called Investors Connect, where he hosted workshops and provided educational information and research tools to over 300 members. He also served on the board of the Investing Club and Finance Club at California State University of Northridge.
Outside of the office, Alen enjoys body building, researching stocks, and listening to podcasts.
