A native of Knoxville, TN Chris has over 27 years of experience in the financial services industry.  Chris earned his degree in Political Science from The University of Tennessee. As the team lead and a Private Wealth Advisor, Chris' focus centers on complex family wealth, specifically those of closely-held private companies. Chris holds the Series 7 and 66 FINRA registrations.  Chris and his wife have two children and are active members of their community through their children’s school, their church, and various community organizations.  Chris also devotes time to several non-profit organizations he has become involved with over the last 25 years.  In addition to spending time with family, Chris enjoys adventure travel, fly fishing, archery hunting, and history.

Andy Oakes directs the team's wealth management and estate planning strategies.  He has over 20 years of experience focused on crafting detailed solutions based upon the client's risk tolerance, time horizon, cost considerations, liquidity needs, and overall investment goals. A native East Tennessean, Andy graduated from Furman University in 1998 with a Bachelor of Art's degree in Political Science. He has served the community through organizations including the Episcopal Church of the Ascension, Family Promise, United Way, and Big Brothers Big Sisters, in addition to being a United States Peace Corps Volunteer in Ukraine from 2006 to 2007.  Andy is a CFP certificant and holds his Series 7 and 66 FINRA registrations.

Ridge, born and raised in East Tennessee, has held his Series 7 and 66 licenses since 2017.  He joined Cameron, Oakes & Associates after completing graduate school at the Haslam School of Business in 2016, where he earned his MBA.  Prior to that, Ridge worked at UT Knoxville as a lab technician, making use of his undergraduate degree from Maryville College in Biochemistry.  Maryville College holds a special place in his heart as that is where he met his best friend and future wife, Susan.  He currently lives in Maryville, TN with his wife and 4 children.  Other than chasing his kids, he enjoys playing golf and ultimate frisbee.

Sam Springer, a native of Maryville, TN, provides comprehensive planning solutions to clients and their families designed to accomplish their personal and financial goals. A graduate of the University of Tennessee, he earned both a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Accountancy with a Tax Concentration, and ultimately earned his CPA License. While at the University, he was a pitcher for the Tennessee baseball team. Sam is active in the Knoxville community including The Rotary Club of Knoxville, Young Alumni Board of The Haslam College of Business, and serves as a Council Member to the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants. Outside of the office, Sam spends his time trying new restaurants and traveling with his wife, Alyssa and son, Miles.

Sharon is a multi-skilled results-oriented banking professional with 20+ years of banking management experience in customer service, sales orientation,  leadership, management and coaching skills, commercial awareness and business acumen. Sharon grew up in Bristol Va. but has lived in several states over the past 25 years and has resided in Knoxville since 2014. Sharon has been married for 30 years and has 3 children.  Sharon enjoys spending time with family and friends , beach trips, and walking with her dog.

Theresa was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ and earned her Bachelor's degree from Arizona State University. She began working in wealth management in January 2019 after spending 13 years in administrative support roles.  Theresa joined Cameron, Oakes & Associates in March 2020 and serves the team by providing operational and account maintenance support, focusing on financial review preparation and reporting, client digital engagement, and event planning. She is passionate about delivering a superior client experience, and enjoys building relationships with the clients the team serves.  Theresa and her husband have been married for 17 years and have two teenage children. They spend most of their non-working hours cheering on their kids in football, soccer, and tennis.  Theresa also enjoys traveling to the beach, baking, yoga, and reading.

Carla was born and raised in Venezuela. She earned her bachelor’s degree in human resources and worked in that area 9 years. In 2018, she began working for Morgan Stanley in Miami, FL where she became a trusted point of contact for clients, managed daily account maintenance, responded to client requests and provided operational support to her team. She joined Cameron, Oakes & Associates in August 2022 and supports the team in several operational capacities such as account opening, custom reporting, and Alternative Investments.

Carla enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, exploring the city, walking and being outdoors.
