I began my career at UBS in Switzerland in 1979 working at several UBS branches before being accepted as a Management Trainee in New York in 1987. A year later I was offered a position in the San Francisco office. Since then I have been servicing both high net-worth individuals and institutional clients, successfully guiding them through major market corrections and four recessions. The average tenure of my clients is over 25 years.
For over two decades I have been educating my clients about the benefits of gold as an alternative asset class and portfolio diversifier. UBS is a leader in this area and many of my clients have benefitted from our expertise. Throughout my career my fundamental goals have been to offer the best possible service in the Swiss tradition of quality and excellence while drawing on the global resources of UBS.
I am FINRA registered and hold Series 7 and 63 securities licenses as well as insurance and variable annuity licenses. I am a graduate of the Swiss Commercial School in Horgen/Zurich, being fluent in German, English, French, Italian and Spanish. My wife and I live in Tiburon. The entire family enjoys spending time outdoors where I practice my lifelong passion in photography.
