My path into wealth management has been shaped by a career grounded in analytical thinking and complex investment decision‑making. I began with a foundation in chemistry, where I developed an appreciation for how disciplined, well‑considered inputs—applied intentionally over time—can produce durable outcomes. That perspective carried forward into my work in commercial real estate, advising building owners and asset managers across the Midwest on high‑value, long‑term investment decisions.
In commercial real estate, I worked closely with principals navigating capital allocation, leasing strategy, financing, and portfolio positioning. These environments involved meaningful risk, long time horizons, and decisions where outcomes were shaped as much by planning and coordination as by market conditions. Those experiences continue to inform how I approach investment strategy, risk management, and the importance of an integrated plan.
What became increasingly clear was that behind every transaction and balance sheet stood an individual, a family enterprise, or a business owner weighing decisions that carried real financial and emotional weight. That realization ultimately led me to wealth management, where I could work more directly with families and founders facing similarly complex, high‑impact decisions—but across the full scope of their financial lives.
Today, I partner with high‑net‑worth individuals, families and business owners to bring clarity, structure, and continuity to their financial lives. My approach is centered on understanding the interconnected aspects of a client’s financial world—investments, business interests, balance sheet, tax considerations, and long‑term goals—and aligning them into a cohesive strategy built for longevity. Whether advising through liquidity events, portfolio transitions, generational planning, or strategic investment decisions, my role is to help clients simplify complexity and move forward with confidence. I strive to serve as a steady, objective partner—helping clients protect what they’ve built, make intentional decisions, and ensure their wealth supports the life, legacy, and enterprise they envision.

My grandfather was a farmer in Iowa. He was soft spoken and lived a simple life. What no one knew, not even my grandmother, was that he was a savvy investor. He had been acquiring farm land and investing in the stock market for over 35 years. When he passed away in 1997, my grandmother was not prepared for the responsibility of managing those assets. The entire family had to organize the investments. Shortly after his death, my grandmother was diagnosed with dementia and needed hospice care. Because of my grandfather’s investments, we had the capability to give her the care she needed and deserved. That was the beginning of my involvement in wealth management. One could say the reason I do what I do is because I love to help people navigate financial challenges and build wealth for their families. My grandfather taught me well.
