Marion (Dickie) Brawley III is the senior partner of The Brawley Wagner Financial Group and for nearly 40 years has enjoyed guiding his clients as their financial advisor. After serving in the US Marine Corp during Vietnam, he received his Bachelor of Arts from Hampden Sydney College, followed by a Master of Business Administration from The American Graduate School of International Management (“Thunderbird.”)
He began his career as a financial advisor in 1978, with training and certification through Merrill Lynch in New York City, after which he and his wife, Joan, moved to Winter Haven to work in the new Merrill Lynch office and raise their four now-adult children. Eager to continue his knowledge and skill in protecting and growing his clients' portfolios, in 2003, he earned the designation of a Certified Investment Manager Analyst (CIMA®), which supports his practice of facilitating clients and small corporations with manager selection and asset allocation.
In his spare time, Dickie is an avid woodworker, and especially enjoys making 18th century furniture reproductions. Joan, an Episcopal priest, and Dickie are blessed to have five grandsons ages six to two years old who keep them very busy and worn out when they come to visit in Winter Haven.
Frank graduated Cum Laude with a Business Administration degree from the University of Georgia's Terry School of Business. After graduating, Frank spent five years in New York City with Merrill Lynch, where he became the Director of Structured Product Sales for the New York City and Long Island Regions. In 2008, Frank married Patricia Ballantyne and moved to Tampa to join UBS. Frank is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (CFP®), and a Charter Retirement Planning Specialist (CRPC®), both of which he utilizes when creating customized financial plans for his clients. Frank is also a Retirement Plan Consultant, a UBS designation given to a select number of Financial Advisors that focus on retirement plan solutions for businesses.
Frank and Patricia reside in South Tampa, with their three sons Frank, Jones and Bennett. In his spare time, Frank has competed in a number of triathlons and enjoys taking his boys golfing, fishing and hunting.
Since 1990, Tom has devoted himself to the financial services industry, where he has been able to genuinely make a difference in the lives of his clients. His early experience as a business owner enables him to understand and anticipate his client’s needs for liquidity, growth, security and succession. As a parent, he has unique insight into his clients’ objectives and concerns when planning for everything from growing a family and paying for college to assisting aging parents and preparing for retirement. He has a unique ability to identify what is most important to his clients and help them proactively achieve it.
Tom’s client-focused approach to comprehensive wealth management includes asset allocation, equity and fixed income management, lending solutions and alternative investments. His past experience includes owning a registered broker/dealer firm, giving him unique insight into market trends and investment strategies.
Tom also believes strongly in the importance of giving back to our community and contributing to the betterment of others. He is currently a member of Leadership Pinellas and is actively involved with the Association of Corporate Growth and the American Cancer Society. Prior to this, he enjoyed serving on the boards of the Dunedin Fine Art Center and The Arc Tampa Bay, where he has served as Investment Committee Chairman. Tom has also served as a member of the Pinellas Estate Planning Council and the Advisory Council for the Morton Plant Foundation.
Originally from Glen Ellyn, IL, Tom graduated from the University of Kansas with a B.S. in economics. Tom and his wife, Joanna, have three children and two dogs. He likes to spend his free time on the water with his family or playing golf. They live in Indian Rocks Beach, FL.
Raised in Polk County, Debbie began her career in the financial industry with Merrill Lynch in 1983. There she obtained her FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 licenses. She joined the Brawley Wealth Management Group in 1990 and with them joined UBS in 2012. As an administrative partner, her focus is on team operations, account service and implementing investment strategies. Skilled at providing solutions, she enjoys working with clients to meet their financial and banking needs while delivering a positive client experience.
Debbie has two grown sons and lives in Auburndale with her three rescue dogs. She enjoys attending live musical events and spending time with friends and family.
Beth, a Winter Haven native, graduated from the University of South Florida with a major in Elementary Education. In 1995, she started her career in the financial services industry with Allen and Company. She moved to Merrill Lynch in 2001 to join the Brawley Wealth Management Group, and continued with them to UBS in 2012. Beth has her FINRA Series 7 license and as an administrative partner handles the team's scheduling and marketing. She also handles account servicing and works closely with the team on financial planning. She most enjoys interaction with our clients and assisting them in their financial needs.
Beth is married to Buzz and lives in Winter Haven. She has two grown daughters and five grandchildren. She is a gardening enthusiast and most weekends you will find her in her yard or playing with her grandchildren and friends.
Valerie joined UBS in 1999. In her 20 years at the firm she prides herself in building strong relationships with clients so that they know they can rely on her. When clients come to her with questions or concerns, they know that Valerie will find the solution and will answer their questions thoroughly. Her vast knowledge of UBS systems and procedures is key to streamlining the team's procedures and keeping the team running smoothly. Valerie has been an integral part in hiring and training our interns and support staff. One of Valerie's greatest passions is mentoring our interns and support staff both, within our team and branch.
In her spare time, Valerie participates in local running events, she crochets baby blankets for friends and family expecting babies, a tradition that was started by her grandmother more than 50 years ago. Valerie and her husband Orlando enjoy spending time at the beach and hosting impromptu dinners for their friends and family.
