I am grateful every day for this job. I grew up on a farm, but as a kid, up in my room I had New York stock exchange reports spread across my floor. It was quite the contrast to what I did outside each day. There are those people who don’t know what they want to do when they grow up. That wasn’t me.

20-something years ago, I started as an intern at UBS. I began my career as more of an analyst. Economic numbers, portfolio analysis and complicated spreadsheets were a big part of what I did. As my career has progressed, I have seen the amazing value of money, not for what it is, but for what it can do. I am passionate about the power of what my clients and I can do. Money can be a facilitator of dreams, both present and future. It is my greatest spiritual joy I get from my career at UBS: I help people achieve their greatest hopes, and help clients finance their biggest dreams.

Erin is an account Vice President, and an integral Partner of the team, specializing in sophisticated planning, investment and overall relationship management to affluent individuals, families and institutions. She works closely with her clients to develop a Financial Plan, which addresses all aspects of the client's financial objectives, such as asset allocation, spending strategies, and risk management. The plan is continually monitored and updated as circumstances change, throughout all stages of the wealth planning process - accumulation, preservation, distribution and legacy planning.

Erin received a BA from the University of Minnesota, with extensive coursework through Carlson School of Management. Since joining UBS in 2007, Erin has earned a Chartered Plan Retirement Specialist (CRPS) and Retirement Plan Consultant designations. Erin lives in Orono, MN with her husband Joe, enjoys traveling, running marathons, and spending time on the lake.

Karli graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a Bachelor's degree in Business and a Minor in Psychology. She has worked in the financial industry since graduating in 2015. Her favorite part of working in this industry is building relationships with clients and helping them achieve their financial and personal goals. Outside of work, Karli enjoys spending time with friends and family, jogging, traveling, and volunteering at local animal shelters.

David joined The Bottema Callahan Financial Partners in July 2023. Prior to joining our team, David was a Registered Client Associate in Madison, WI. David graduated from University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2020 with a major in personal finance and minor in entrepreneurship. He has worked with UBS since being an intern in 2019. He has acquired his Series 7 and 66 licenses.

David is a native of Eau Claire, Wisconsin. In his free time, he enjoys partaking in watersports and boat rides at his family’s cabin in Hayward, Wisconsin and following sports teams such as the Green Bay Packers and St. Louis Cardinals.
