As head of the Bosphorus Wealth Management Group, Michael is a Financial Advisor, Senior Portfolio Manager and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional who brings almost twenty years of experience developing and implementing financial strategies focused on providing tailored wealth management advice and solutions based on each family’s specific needs.

Utilizing a thorough due diligence process to understand family dynamics and complex wealth management needs, Michael structures holistic family wealth management plans to incorporate trust & estate planning strategies, retirement planning, insurance and credit management with asset allocation, investment selection, risk management and portfolio construction.

Michael works with the team to construct, implement and monitor clients portfolio construction, investment selection, and asset allocation. Developing the group’s overall strategic investment vision and identifying new investments for clients. 

As a result of Michael’s specialized training and experience, he has attained the highly regarded title of Senior Portfolio Manager.

In addition, Michael heads the team’s fixed income research, strategy and implementation process. He focuses on providing in-depth fundamental and technical analysis across a broad spectrum of fixed income and equity investments. Michael works closely with market strategist, credit analysts and traders to discover and implement investment opportunities in the fixed income markets. This allows him to identify, construct and manage investment portfolios, on a fully discretionary basis.

Before joining UBS, Michael was an Account Vice President at Morgan Stanley and an investment advisor at J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Bear Stearns & Co. and RBC Dain Rauscher.

Michael is a member of the Municipal Bond Club of New York and the Society of the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick in the City of New York.

Michael currently resides in Garden City, NY with his wife and three children.
