Nathan Berkoff is a wealth advisor, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and founder of the Berkoff Group at UBS. With over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry, Nathan focuses on creating comprehensive wealth management strategies for professionals, entrepreneurs, families and partners of KPMG and PwC.
Nathan graduated from Skidmore College in 2001 with a degree in Accounting and Finance. Prior to entering the financial services industry, Nathan founded his own software company and developed intranet and database systems for the U.S Department of Justice.
Always exploring new ideas and innovative ways to better serve his clients, Nathan is responsible for the investment strategies, asset allocation models, and financial planning for the team’s clients. He believes that the financial planning process is the key to building wealth carefully and intelligently. Nathan and his team conduct a deep and thorough assessment of each client’s complete financial status, including assets, liabilities, and insurance needs. He also takes time to understand his clients’ unique goals. Whether they seek to fund their children’s education, their legacy or their retirement, Nathan uses this data to craft strategic financial plans based on those objectives.
As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, Nathan brings the highest standard of ethics and fiduciary responsibility to his practice. With his skills and philosophy, Nathan’s goal is to help clients meet their financial objectives today, tomorrow, and for generations to come.
Nathan is the Trustee of NY State Trooper PBA Signal 30 Fund, a non-profit dedicated to supporting the members of the New York State Troopers and their families in extraordinary circumstances such as illness, injury and loss of residences due to fire of flood. Most recently acting when Troopers have been killed in the line of duty.
Nathan is also the Chairman of the Board of Bernie's Services. A non-profit that for over 50 years has been providing free Jewish High Holy Day services for students, servicemen and women, and the needy. Last year, Bernie's Services welcomed over 500 people to celebrate the holidays together.
