Senior Vice President–Wealth Management
Antony Pougnet serves clients as their trusted financial partner, specializing in helping business owners and specialist physicians plan and execute their exit strategy. As a UBS Senior Vice President- Investments, Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA) he advises these clients and their families who require highly specialized and comprehensive financial advisory services before, during and after they exit their business or practice.
By understanding the client’s business and personal situation, Antony works with them to build retirement cash flow plans and legacy plans that achieve the maximum impact on their family and their philanthropic goals.
Antony has been working with clients to realize their financial goals since starting his financial advisory practice at Merrill Lynch in 1995. He moved his practice to UBS Financial Services Inc. in 2008, shortly after Merrill Lynch was acquired by Bank of America. Prior to becoming a Financial Advisor, Antony worked as a Regional Vice President with ALPS Securities in Denver and also for Deloitte & Touche in South Africa in their Audit and Consulting Group. He attended the University of KwaZulu – Natal in South Africa and earned a Masters in Corporate Finance and Investment Management and a B.A. in Accounting and Finance. He holds the CFP and CEPA professional designations as well.
Born and raised in South Africa, Antony emigrated to the U.S. in his 20’s and continues to feel extremely grateful for the privilege of being a citizen of this great country. He recognizes the importance of giving back to his community and has been an active member of the Westminster Rotary Club and he has served on the Board of Governors at Holy Family Catholic High School in Broomfield and on the Principal’s Advisory Council at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic grade school.
