Senior Vice President–Wealth Management
Financial Advisor
After spending five years in the NY garment industry, I migrated to the financial industry in 1981, joining Dean Witter/Morgan Stanley and remained with them for 26 years. I moved to UBS in 2007. I achieved my Certified Financial Planner™ Professional designation in 1989 and continue to integrate the core precepts of tax, investment and estate planning with each client. My greatest feeling of accomplishment is when I can provide advice and perspective that helps bring clarity to a client when they are confronting a life event for the first time.
I am a believer in community service and was a founding member of the Ramsey (NJ) Public Education Foundation and currently chair a charitable grant committee at the Unitarian Society in Ridgewood. I received my undergraduate degree from Knox College (Illinois) and CFP® through the Denver College of Financial Planning. I sail (both competitively and for fun) and treasure my weekly golf game. I also am a music lover, attend live jazz and always read, especially history. My wife and I live in Ramsey and have two sons: one a branding strategist and the other a professional rock musician.

My financial services career started in 1986 at E.F.Hutton. A year later, after experiencing the ‘87 crash, I realized the importance of creating portfolios that can guard against the unforeseen. I was with Dean Witter/Morgan Stanley for 18 years before transferring to UBS in 2007. I received my bachelor’s degree from Marist College (New York) and my Certified Financial Planner™ designation through the Denver College of Financial Planning.
Prior to my financial services career, I was a basketball and baseball player and coach. I embraced the lessons of drive, discipline and determination to perform at various levels. I also learned the importance of having a plan to accomplish one’s goals. I was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in 2003, underwent an aggressive treatment and have been cancer-free for over a decade. I thank those same teachings that I learned in sports for helping me to overcome that challenge. My wife and I reside in Ridgewood and have a teenage daughter who has engaged in an acting career and a son who is a varsity hockey player. I love to play a little golf whenever I can and relish my time at the lake.

I joined Morgan Stanley Dean Witter in 2000 and moved to UBS in 2007. I was born in Moscow and happily came to the United States as a teenager where I attended Queensboro College, NY. I truly enjoy my relationship with our clients and helping them with the day-to-day details of their accounts. I have two daughters, one in college and one in graduate school. I love to cook and bake and enjoy Latin ballroom dancing.
