With over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, Andrea has a robust background, having previously served as a Wealth Advisor at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management for more than a decade. Throughout her distinguished career, she has excelled in developing tailored, goal-based strategies for individuals, families, and small businesses, encompassing various financial services such as investment management, 401k management, philanthropy, estate and trust planning, insurance, lending, and business and personal banking.
In her current capacity, Andrea collaborates closely with clients and their tax and legal advisors to provide a comprehensive approach to wealth management. This includes asset and liability management, tax minimization strategies, asset preservation, and generational transfers.
Andrea has a proven track record of helping clients pursue their objectives by crafting and overseeing personalized or defined strategies, model portfolio and third-party investment strategies. As a Portfolio Manager within UBS's advisory platform, Andrea may exercise discretion in managing strategies. She is unwavering in her commitment to operating with integrity and compassion while delivering exceptional services on a daily basis.
Andrea is a finance graduate from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and has also completed the educational requirements for the CFP certification at Duke University. She has been actively engaged in the community and has served as chair of Furever Friends Animal Rescue in 2017-2018. In her leisure time, Andrea enjoys spending quality time with her daughter Charli and her husband Brendan.
