Senior Vice President–Wealth Management
After my father retired from flying with the Air Force, he became a financial advisor. I followed in his footsteps after my US Navy experience and working for the Department of Energy for several years, continued the legacy of my father joining the financial services industry in 1994. I believe clients appreciate our timely response, knowledge of portfolios and markets and the overall approach to not just the portfolio's but our clients actual needs to include estate planning, financial planning and really spending time with overall family needs. Mostly our overall relationship along with discussing and helping with overall needs of our clients. Always being there and being responsive to clients various needs. I think the main differentiator of me and our clients is putting myself with them and their needs, understanding and relating to various situations. Performance along with the other duties we perform as advisors is important, but actually caring and building relationships outside of just UBS is very important.
First Vice President–Wealth Management
Financial Advisor
As a young adult, I had a strong desire to learn about all kinds of investments that grew into a job working for a small business & managing corporate assets. As time went on, I felt I could continue learning about the various investments available to people and be of greater value if I joined an investment firm. That decision had a profound impact on my life and the lives of my client’s. I found my passion for helping individuals identify & achieve their own goals. Over the decades, many of my initial clients have become close friends and I consider them almost family.
Clients stay with us over the long term because we are dedicated financial advocates. We put our clients’ interests at all times. We ask the critical questions to learn all about our clients, their families, priorities & concerns. We understand that earning their confidence & trust requires integrity in all decisions, prudence in our approach & accessibility at all times.
We have a “white glove,” concierge level of services. At the foundation of our business model is communication: Design & Implementation of your multi-generational Financial Plan, a 12-4-2 Client Contact – Twelve scheduled appointments every year, four of those are full reviews of your portfolio & two include a review of your Financial Plan; a Rapid Response to your problems – We are set up to provide a solution w/in 24 hours or an expected timeline for resolution.
We communicate frequently and lead with deeper discussions with our clients. Through those discussions, clients learn more & they learn faster. Through that education comes trust. In the end, they like us, they trust us & they know that we’re smart!

The decision to become of a Financial Advisor was due to my passion and interest in the financial markets and investing. I believed educating people about the options that are available to them helps them make informed choices towards their goals and objectives. I really enjoy learning and passing on strategies to people so we can create a solution-oriented plan for future events.
I value myself as a compassionate listener and believe my clients feel comfortable sharing their financial story, goals and aspirations with me. I work at providing the best solutions for their unique circumstances.
Longevity at one firm is something I am very proud of. It shows commitment and loyalty and with longstanding clients is shows trust in the relationship. It has allowed me help many families put their children through college and transition the focus to grandchildren and great grandchildren. It is an honor to share in the various stages of life with my clients.
Working with many generations of families allow me to share wisdom and stability. I’ve earned their trust over the long haul and have been a reliable resource and am committed to providing solutions for their wealth strategies.

Financial Advisor
After leaving my company in Ft. Worth, I moved to Corpus Christi to become a sales engineer. My advisor at Merrill Lynch said I had a knack for investing so I should meet with his manager to discuss becoming a financial advisor. After meeting with the manager he offered me the job, I thought about why I would make the switch from something I was very good at to something I would need to learn from scratch. Opportunity accepted! I love to challenge myself and the thought of learning new things and using them to help others achieve their financial goals fit what I like to do which is to help people.
Whether in my previous career or in my present career, people seemed to pick up very quickly that I am genuine and that my main objective is to help them achieve their goals rather than promote mine. I have had the privilege to work with the parents, their children and now their grandchildren in my 25 years and that gives me great satisfaction. After a while, they understand that achieving their objectives is all that matters to me. Not just managing risk, but building a financial plan so we have a road map, helping them with their estate planning issues, and being proactive when things change. The greatest compliment that my clients give me is when they refer their children to me and ask me to help them. That is legacy wealth, a motivation to keep doing what I am doing and always strive to be better.
My clients like that I approach the business with the idea there is always something to learn. I’ve obtained professional designations like the CAP and CFP, I am continuously doing research and have the ability to convey it to them in an understandable manner. My clients can find me at the pool being a USA swim and UIL Deck Referee or the swim meets I officiate. As a Master Gardener, I also educate people in Texas on responsible organic gardening. I am passionate about serving people, whether we are in the garden, pool or the conference table.
