Advice that inspires confidence
As a financial advisor since 1987, Bill has helped his clients navigate every type of market environment and pursue the full range of financial goals. His depth of wealth management experience allows him to offer skilled advice—and back it up with conviction. Bill prides himself on his close relationships with the families he works with. He considers most of his clients to be friends, and they say the same about him.
Bill’s genuine concern for others is apparent in his deep-dive approach to gathering information and getting to know his clients. By taking the time to understand them, their families and their needs, he is able to offer highly personalized financial guidance. In everything he does, Bill strives to do right by the client, including giving them advice that he hopes will help them sleep well at night.
Bill and his colleagues at The 770 Group design a comprehensive plan for each client before they make any investment recommendations. They seek to advise people on every aspect of their financial lives, and to offer a rare level of service and attentiveness. Bill loves the financial services industry. With the exception of a two-year stint at Bellsouth, it is all he has ever done—or ever wanted to do.

Financial Advisor
Seeking to deliver the highest level of financial advice and client service
Scott has a passion for his clients, their families and their financial well-being. His goal is to be their trusted advisor for the most important financial decisions in their life. Scott leads with financial planning, and he believes planning should guide investment strategies. He is diligent about understanding his clients’ goals and concerns, and anticipating what risks could stand in the way of accomplishing those goals. Scott is committed to continuous education in order to provide sound advice about shifting taxes, regulations and economic conditions.
While there is much more to life than money, Scott finds it rewarding to see the freedom that a sound financial plan can provide. He enjoys helping people pursue their retirement goals, send their children and grandchildren to college and build a legacy for the future. At The 770 Group, Scott works with clients to execute the financial and investment strategy that the team crafts for them after extensive information gathering and communication. He is proud to be part of a practice that is large enough to allow each person to focus on a specific role.
Scott bought his first stock, Advanced Micro Devices, at 10 years of age, after his fourth grade teacher explained compound interest. While he’s not sure he understood the concept, he remembers being blown away by what a dollar could turn into if it was allowed to grow. Scott has been a Wealth Management Advisor since age 25. He began his career with Smith Barney and joined The 770 Group in 2008.
Outside the office
Scott and his wife, Sabrina, are the parents of two children, Perri and Jack. Scott coaches youth basketball, and is an active golfer and soccer player. He enjoys fishing, sports, travel and reading. But Scott’s favorite thing to do is be a dad.

Making a difference in his clients’ lives
Jake is a seasoned Financial Advisor who started in the business in 1993 and became a partner in The 770 Group in 1998. Jake works with high net worth individuals and families, many of whom initially believe this is a stock and bond or investment business. Jake’s goal, however, is to help his clients make sound financial decisions. He understands that what might make sense for one person may be inappropriate for others. Jake believes that if his clients can establish a track record of making good financial decisions, they can dramatically improve their financial situation and net worth. Ultimately, Jake seeks to help put people in a continually better position by getting involved in managing their wealth.
With nearly three decades of experience, Jake has helped his clients successfully navigate various market environments and economic climates. Given the emphasis The 770 Group places on financial planning, Jake also helps them understand the importance of realistic goals, objectives and expectations. Together he and his clients build a financial model—a picture of where they are today—and turn it into a working financial plan that keeps them focused on what’s important and too often overlooked. Jake manages investment accounts, ensures proper asset allocation and is diligent about making sure his clients follow through on the details of their plan. Jake strives to do the right thing for every client, always having their best interests in mind.
