For over 15 years, Karen has been fully engaged in effecting wealth management, financial planning, and investment solutions for high net worth individuals and business owners. She focuses on helping her clients achieve success across all aspects of their financial lives, while providing an exceptional level of service.
Karen takes each client through a comprehensive planning process, which starts with carefully listening and making sure she understands their unique situation, values, and vision for their future. She then designs and implements a customized plan that draws on cash flow analysis, simulation testing, and risk management to arrive at the optimal asset allocation. As circumstances in her clients' lives change, the plan evolves and adjusts, giving them the confidence to move forward no matter what challenges come their way.
Karen is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, a certification she earned after obtaining a Certificate in Financial Planning from Georgetown University. She obtained the Certified Investment Management Analyst® designation upon successfully completing Yale University's CIMA® registered education program, administered by the Investments and Wealth Institute. She earned the Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM designation through the College for Financial Planning®. As a Certified Exit Planning Advisor, she understands the unique opportunities and challenges that come at every stage of an entrepreneur's personal and business life, from launch through exit and beyond
Karen graduated with a B.S. in finance and a B.A. in psychology from the University of Maryland, which she attended on a full scholarship. She holds Series 7, 66, and 31 securities licenses and is life, health, and long-term care insurance licensed. Her passion for traveling and learning about different cultures has taken her to over 25 countries, but as a fourth generation Washingtonian, she is proud to call DC home.

Giving back to his community is the philosophy Vic lives by every day. This legacy includes the contributions of Vic’s late grandmother, Avis Birely, who is credited as the first woman to become the president of the Montgomery County Council Board.

Linh Toomey joined our team as a Client Service Associate in 2024. Linh began her career at T. Rowe Price, bringing with her 9 years of industry experience in trading, operations, and client reporting. Her expertise in analysis combined with her genuine and caring nature is an asset to our client service team and to our clients.
Linh is an alumnus of Towson University where she graduated with a B.S. in Finance. She also completed graduate-level investment courses at Johns Hopkins Carey Business School. In 2023, Linh received the Bright Award from the Asian Advisory Council for MOSAIC Asian Heritage Community at T. Rowe Price for her work in organizing cultural events for associates to promote diversity and inclusion within the workplace. Linh will be working side by side with our operational team members, Susan Harrison and Daniel Corr to equally handle all administrative responsibilities and client service requests.
Raised in Baltimore, Maryland, Linh is thrilled to call Washington, DC her new home. Outside of the office, Linh enjoys traveling, practicing yoga, painting, and learning foreign languages. Linh speaks English and Vietnamese.

Diego Rojas has been a proud member of Seested Partners since 2022. He joined the team as an intern during his freshman year at The Catholic University of America and has worked under the guidance and mentorship of Vic Seested throughout his college career. Diego credits his growth as a professional and a person to the values instilled in him by the team at UBS and the example set by Mr. Seested, whom he considers one of his most important mentors.
Outside of UBS, Diego is a proud American committed to service and community impact. He is a two-term Commissioner in Washington, D.C., representing District 5A-4. First elected in December 2021 at just 18 years old, Diego became the youngest elected official in the city’s history. Throughout his tenure, he has voted on critical legislative matters such as budgeting, development projects, and public safety reform, with a focus on improving the quality of life for his constituents. He is also a two-time published author. His most recent book, The American Pilgrimage, explores the moral and civic lessons behind the monuments of Washington, D.C., with the goal of inspiring the next generation of American leaders.
Diego is a scratch golfer and serves as a captain of the Catholic University Men’s Golf Team. He is a senior finance major at The Catholic University of America, where he maintains a 3.9 GPA. Upon graduation, he will continue his education at The George Washington University, where he will pursue an MBA.
Diego believes in living his life in pursuit of the American Dream and honoring the sacrifices of great Americans who came before him by working for a better future in all that he does.
