As a graduate of the United States Naval Academy and a former Navy pilot, Doug believes strongly in proper planning.  He has a specific process to help clients articulate their core values, identify specific financial goals and determine the precise point where their journey should begin. Regular meetings assure that they are either on track to meet their objectives or need to adjust course.

In Doug’s experience, many people think wealth management is rather complex. His role is to simplify the process, and to help make life easier for his clients. His mission has always been to help people take care of their families, as well as, contribute to the causes that are important to them.

Years of training and financial experience.
Doug began his financial career in 1987 at the Union Central Life Insurance Company, establishing himself as a financial planner. Doug's career led him to Morgan Keegan & Co., from 1998 - 2007, where he gained valuable experience.  Teaming up with John Wilfong in 2004, they joined UBS in 2007, forming the team that exists today. He is a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) and holds the Series 6, 7, 9, 10, 63 and 65 securities licenses.

        Giving back to others.
