Senior Vice President–Wealth Management
Portfolio Manager
Steve’s introduction to capital markets and investment advice started at James Madison College at Michigan State University. He saw first-hand how the educational system has failed to ready most of the public with even the most fundamental principles of personal financial planning or investment management. Today, Steve remains driven to help simplify the complexities surrounding the financial planning and investment management experience. He does this through clear and easy-to-understand solutions for his clients’ important financial decisions.
A focus on business owners and executives
As the owner of a privately held business, Steve brings experience and understanding to the difficult decisions business owners and executives face every day. By leveraging the experience of his team, as well as the global resources of UBS, the entire Riebe Sampson Wealth Management team is positioned to guide their clients in comprehensive financial and business planning.
Steve’s CEPA (Certified Exit Planning Advisor) accreditation equips him to oversee and coordinate the development of a master plan for an exit or sale of a privately held business. Working alongside clients through the full cycle of their personal and business planning objectives, he helps integrate all aspects of their financial lives into a comprehensive exit plan, including investment and risk management, as well as legal, tax and insurance challenges.
As a Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®), Steve is committed to the highest standard of professional ethics and principles. He earned the designation from the Solomon L. Hubner School of the American College of Financial Services, where he was also awarded a certificate in financial planning as part of his studies.
