Ryan is a former entrepreneur turned Private Wealth Advisor in the ultra-high-net-worth division of UBS, where he works predominantly with business owners, founders, corporate executives and multigenerational families. He focuses on wealth planning that stems from his cash-flow analysis of each client’s situation and extends to estate planning, tax planning strategies, philanthropy and other areas that are meaningful to a client’s financial life.
Ryan brings particular expertise in helping business owners navigate the sale of their enterprise and subsequent realignment of their financial life. In addition, he relates well to next-generation clients and enjoys educating them about the opportunities and challenges presented by their family’s wealth.
Ryan graduated from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California in 2008, where his participation in USC’s entrepreneurship program inspired him to start an eco-friendly surf apparel company out of his dorm room, which allows him to better understand the needs and perspective of his business-owner clients today.
A native of Orange County, Ryan is married with two children. Outside the office, he enjoys golfing, surfing and spending time in the mountains.

Kirk works to be a true partner and problem-solver for his clients. His financial services career began in 1992 and has spanned a number of different roles. This long and varied tenure gives him perspective, insights and connections that add deep value to his clients and his wealth management practice. Kirk’s natural strengths start with listening, then helping his clients solve complex financial issues by providing a highly customized approach to financial planning. He has developed a specialty niche in structuring complex lending solutions.
Kirk has 32 years of experience advising wealthy families, public company executives and private business owners. He joined UBS in 2008 after six years in the Private Investment Management division of Lehman Brothers, where he led a Corporate Treasury Services team. From 2000 to 2002, Kirk worked at Morgan Stanley in its Private Wealth Management division. Previous roles include two years at Bear Stearns in the Middle Markets Institutional Group advising banks, insurance companies and asset managers on fixed income investments and five years as an investment advisor at PaineWebber. With a commitment to lifelong learning and education, Kirk earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® designation in 2013 and the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation in 1999. He graduated with a B.S.E. in biomedical engineering and a B.A. in English from Arizona State University.
Kirk played on ASU’s 1987 Rose Bowl Championship football team. He was named to the Academic All PAC-10 team as a running back and was a standout on special teams. Kirk and his wife, Megan, have five college-age and young-adult children and four Australian Shepherds. They live in Pacific Palisades, California.

Scott has spent his career working with successful individuals and families to customize goals-based wealth management strategies. As a senior member of the team, he has helped clients manage their investments through a diverse range of market environments. He has gained the experience and acumen to develop asset allocation strategies designed to weather volatility and help clients preserve their carefully constructed allocations over time with an eye on long-term goals. Today, he greatly appreciates the opportunity to build client relationships that extend for decades and offer his guidance to multiple generations of client families.
Prior to joining UBS in 2013, Scott worked at Merrill Lynch in the Private Bank and Investment Group for 13 years after spending more than 10 years at Goldman Sachs. Previously, he was vice president of marketing and a member of the management committee of a public manufacturing company. Scott earned a master’s degree in international business management with honors from the American Graduate School of International Management, and he graduated cum laude from Utah State University, where he was captain of the men’s basketball team. Before attending Utah State University, Scott served as a voluntary missionary in El Salvador, Honduras and Belize for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Scott and his wife Lisa live in Utah and are the proud parents of four daughters and eight grandchildren. He has served on several foundation boards, including the Utah State University Foundation, Utah State Athletic Department Advisory Board and Los Angeles County Fire Department Foundation Board. In his free time, Scott is a private pilot and a member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association. He also enjoys snow skiing, golfing, hiking in the mountains and wilderness, and flyfishing at his ranch in Montana.

Dan Gray has 18 years of experience in the financial services industry applying his knowledge in wealth creation events, concentrated and restricted position management, cross-asset lending, and wealth planning.
Prior to joining UBS, Dan was a Managing Director and Private Banker at Deutsche Bank Wealth Management, where he was responsible for developing and cultivating relationships with ultra-affluent individuals and families. Dan was at Deutsche Bank for over 15 years, working on one of the largest private wealth teams on the West Coast. Dan and his team worked closely with the investment bank and outside business network to deliver bespoke investment opportunities and financing solutions to Wealth Management clients.
Prior to Deutsche Bank, Dan worked for the Private Bank at Bank of America, where he acted as a Private Client Manager to ultra-affluent families in the Los Angeles area. In addition, Dan sits on the board of Gen Next, an organization that connects, informs, and engages executives and entrepreneurs to empower individuals and causes to provide long-term solutions for future generations.
Dan has a B.S. in Business Administration from Pepperdine University and holds his Series 7 and 66 licenses.
