Experienced, responsive guidance for your future

Curved helix bridge

Empathy might not be the first word that comes to mind when thinking about wealth management. But it’s at the core of our practice.

We take time to get to know our clients, meet their families, and listen to what drives them and what keeps them up at night.

Why? Because we understand that your wealth represents something unique and personal to you. It drives you toward your goals. Can provide security for loved ones. Ensures legacy. It’s the means that enables you to do things that make your world better.

Our role in helping you manage your wealth is a responsibility we take personally in everything we offer:

  • Financial planning: We take the time to understand your vision of retirement and develop a strategy to help you realize and maintain that lifestyle with an effective long-term income plan.
  • Estate planning strategies: Working with you and your other advisors, we can help structure a tax-efficient, multigenerational plan that aligns with your wealth preservation, transfer and legacy goals.
  • Tax management: From your investments to your business income and beyond, taxes affect every aspect of your financial life. We can provide an integrated tax management plan that aligns with your overall wealth strategy.
  • Liabilities management: We can help you manage a full range of credit options in a way that supports your overall financial plan, from conventional mortgages and home equity lines of credit to securities-based financing.
  • Insurance and risk protection: It’s important to ensure you’re prepared for the unexpected. We offer insurance strategies that aim to protect you and generations to come.

Working closely with clients means I can solve small issues before they become big problems.

Senior Vice President at Titan Partners, Glen Titan, has dedicated his entire career to helping people take control of their financial lives. A seasoned Wealth Manager and Senior Portfolio Manager with decades of expertise, Glen views his role as one of providing service and mentorship. He is dedicated to collaborating with clients to develop a vision for their financial future, and then coaching them to work on their plan through all cycles of the economy, from market highs to times of uncertainty.

A rational optimist who values the big picture over short-term gains, Glen strives to help clients lead lives of significance. Whether he’s protecting a family after a premature death, providing worry-free retirements, safeguarding assets during times of sickness or providing a lasting legacy for the next generation, Glen is a steadying force who keeps clients moving forward with purpose. He says that a good Financial Plan “insures against what can go wrong in order to acquire the luxury of investing for what can go right.”

Prior to UBS, Glen started his brokerage career at Drexel Burnham and then worked at PaineWebber in 1999 where he opened the first retail investment office in Southern California for Chase Manhattan Investment Services in 1991. A graduate of State University of New York at Albany with a BS in accounting, he started his career as a CPA at Coopers & Lybrand, where he performed audits of Wall Street firms LF Rothschild and Drexel Burnham.

Outside of work, Glen volunteers as a trustee of the Craft Contemporary Museum in Los Angeles and has served on the Board of Directors of the Friends of the Junior Arts Center for over 20 years. A lifelong Triathlete, he has competed in more than 200 races, including two Ironmans, 14 Escape from Alcatraz triathlons and nine New York City marathons. An avid adventure traveler, Glen has chased the Tour de France through the French Alps on his bicycle, fished for piranhas in the Amazon and swam with great white sharks.

Royce Bergman is used to having real conversations with clients about their lives. When they have a big decision to make or are dealing with a serious issue—financial or otherwise—he’s often the first call they make. It’s an honor that motivates him to help. It also speaks to the trusted relationships the Senior Vice President at Titan Partners has been building at UBS for over a decade.

Royce has over 10 years of experience helping clients prepare for the retirements they want, ensuring their families are secure and educating people about financial responsibility. He also works with corporations to manage corporate benefits, oversees $250 million in 401(k) profit sharing & defined benefit plans and works with employees to leverage their benefits.

What truly differentiates Royce is the service model he delivers. He’s a financial life planner as opposed to an investment manager. That starts with understanding the emotional experiences of his clients and building a plan that helps them lead meaningful lives.

Before joining UBS, Royce spent eight years as an executive in the entertainment industry, where he produced projects for film and TV, including ABC, CBS, HBO, Lifetime and A&E. A major turning point in his life occurred when his father passed away at the age of 50 and Royce took on the responsibility of overseeing his mother’s estate. In 2009, he joined the PHASE ONE Foundation, a non-profit organization that supports early cancer research, where he recently served as a Board Chair. Royce graduated from the University of Florida with a dual major in English and Business Writing. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife Ashleigh and their children, Greyson and Ruby.

Since joining UBS in 2017, Emma Courtney has made it her mission to help clients feel comfortable when it comes to discussing their finances. It’s an approach that stands out in an industry that can feel intimidating and overwhelming. It also shows wisdom: by being approachable and easy to talk to, clients tend to open up to Emma, which results in better communication and, ultimately, more informed financial planning.

As the first point of contact at Titan Partners, Emma plays a crucial role—helping clients solve problems, understanding their goals and concerns and facilitating the execution of financial plans. Her role in onboarding is essential to building long-term relationships based on trust and transparency. “We are not here to sell clients products and short-term success,” she says. “We want to build a lifelong relationship and help them achieve their long-term financial goals.”

Prior to UBS, Emma worked on the Foreign Exchange Prime Brokerage team at Deutsche Bank working with institutional clients, and later, private clients. A graduate of the University of South Carolina, Emma holds a major in Finance with a minor in Chinese. She is an avid volunteer at Wags and Walks dog rescue in LA, where she lives with her Australian Shepherd, Bruce. In her spare time, Emma enjoys reading, cooking and baking.
