Tim has 38 years of experience as a financial advisor in Naples. He moved to Naples at age 5 from Cincinnati. He was recruited and accepted his first job with Raymond James in Naples where he took and passed the FINRA Series 7 Securities License 3 months before he had graduated from college. After 7 years at Raymond James Tim was a Vice President with First Union Brokerage. Next he was a Senior Investment Specialist with Bank One Securities. In October 2003 Tim joined McDonald Investments that was acquired by UBS in 2006. Tim and his wife Patty, formerly a CPA in Naples, have been married 30 years. In their free time Tim and Patty enjoy traveling and attending Florida Gators and Baylor Bears football and basketball games.
Tim’s daughter Lauren is a Senior Analyst at Raytheon Technologies in Dallas. She graduated cum laude from Baylor University with a degree in Finance. Lauren was awarded the President's Gold Scholarship for Academics. In 2019 she interned at Franklin Templeton Investments. Her second internship was in New York. She was selected by Chairman and CEO Mario Gabelli for an internship at GAMCO Investments, the firm he founded in 1977. August of 2020 Lauren was selected by the Chairman of UBS Americas, Bob McCann, for a UBS Day with interns at the firm's headquarters.
His daughter Ashley is a Marketing Coordinator at Raymond James in St Petersburg. She graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Marketing and a minor in Digital Arts & Sciences Engineering. Ashley was the recipient of the Bright Futures Florida Academic Scholars Award, selected as the head undergraduate teaching assistant for Robert W Emerson and interned for State Senator Keith Perry in Gainesville. She was a cheerleader for the Florida Gators, recipient of the Mr 2-Bits Cheerleader Scholarship, on the Dean's Academic Honors List and was a member of the Kappa Delta Sorority. Ashley has had appearances on ESPN Game Day, SEC Nation, CNN, HLN & ABC's Good Morning America.
