Earl joined UBS in 1985, giving him the experience and deep knowledge needed to help his clients achieve their financial goals. Throughout his career, Earl has built long-term relationships with his clients and has aimed to develop a reputation for professionalism, credibility and dependability.

Focused on providing comprehensive and personalized wealth management strategies, Earl has proved to be a dedicated Financial Advisor within UBS and with his clients. He has been a member of UBS Chairman’s Club for several years, and has been recognized as an industry leader.

Earl is a graduate of the University of San Diego, and is a former member of the UCSD Planned Giving. He resides in La Jolla, CA.

Bryan joined his father Earl, at UBS in 2008. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated his experience and knowledge by helping clients pursue their personal and financial goals. Working with high-net-worth individuals, families and business owners, Bryan helps develop customized strategies while utilizing active asset allocation and a regular review process. He works closely with his client’s trusted tax and legal advisors, to offer a holistic approach to wealth management with tailored solutions, bridging investments, liability management and financial planning capabilities.

Bryan earned his B.B.A, degree in finance and marketing form the University of Washington, Seattle. He hold the Series 7 and 66 securities licenses, as well as CA Insurance, including long-term care and annuities.

Outside of the office, Bryan enjoys traveling, golfing, and spending time with his family. Him and his wife Haylee have two sons, Graham and Blake. Bryan is active in the local community and serves as the Treasurer for the Little Italy Association of San Diego, while also serving on the finance committees for his local church and homeowners association.

With over 20+ years of experience at UBS, Scott possesses a deep understanding of finance, investing, and strategic business development. Scott has grown through a variety of roles, including over 12 years as branch manager, building strong relationships across all levels of the organization and gaining a comprehensive understanding of operational, administrative, and compliance functions.

Scott is proud to be part of The Thompson Wealth Management Group since 2023. As a Financial Advisor, he works with Earl and Bryan Thompson and their decades-long, client-focused business. In this role, Scott continues to apply his deep industry knowledge and relationship-driven approach to help deliver personalized financial strategies to a loyal and growing client base through a commitment to excellence, innovation, and client-centric service.

A graduate of UCLA with a degree in Business Economics, Scott is also engaged in the San Diego community. He has served on the Board of Directors for Junior Achievement of San Diego for over a decade supporting youth education and financial literacy initiatives.

Scott lives in 4S Ranch with his wife Michelle and son Callen.

She has worked in 5 different UBS branches since 1999, and has had the opportunity to work in operations and management as well as with various financial advisor teams. Rachel previously served as the primary assistant to our team from 2005 to 2008, and was excited to return to the Thompson Group at UBS and to San Diego in 2016. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time at the beach with her husband and dedicates much of her energy towards helping raise their two children.

Shortly before completing his education, Bayley started his career at Thrivent Financial as a Financial Associate, earning his Series 7 and 66 licenses as well as his certifications in Life/Health and Accident Insurance in the process. Since then, Bayley has worked at UBS under its Irvine and San Diego markets. Bayley values the opportunity to connect with clients and build lasting relationships. He takes great pride in his work, emphasizing the importance of efficiency and understanding. In his free time, Bayley enjoys spending time with friends, whether that be at the beach or on a baseball field. He also volunteers in youth ministry on the weekends.
