Tom has over 30 years of experience providing comprehensive wealth management services in the areas of investment management, estate and trust planning, financial planning, income tax planning, lending, charitable giving and asset protection. He works with a diversified client base including executives, small business owners, professional athletes, and high net worth families.
Prior to joining UBS Financial Services, Inc., Tom was with Smith Barney, now Morgan Stanley Wealth Management as a Financial Advisor and Arthur Andersen LLP as a Tax Manager in the Private Client Group in Houston.
Tom attended the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida and graduated from the University of Houston with a degree in Accounting. He is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Certified Exit Plan Advisor (CEPA®) and, in addition, he has earned the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) designation through The Wharton School of Business and the Certified Private Wealth Advisor (CPWA®) designation through the University Of Chicago Booth School Of Business. He is a member of The Financial Planning Association and the Investment Management Consultants Association. Tom is also an FAA licensed pilot and a member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association.
Tom lives in Houston with his wife, Cindy and son Casey. He also spends time at the family vacation home in Kauai, Hawaii.
