Tom believes in giving straight-forward advice—in any market. Take a long-term view. Make decisions proactively, not reactively. Stick with your savings and investment plan. Tom's focus is on designing investment strategies that minimize volatility, are attainable and focus on savings. Financial planning plays an important role in helping clients stay on the right path to retirement. Tom's work ethic was formed while attaining the rank of Eagle Scout. This commitment to service has proven valuable in guiding clients over the years.
Tom joined the UBS predecessor firm PaineWebber in 1985, and has since earned the distinguished UBS Wealth Advisor designation and Senior Portfolio Manager designations. Tom graduated from University of California Berkeley with a B.A. in history.
A competitive swimmer, tennis player and avid reader, Tom has roots in the Bay Area since the 1870s. He and his wife, Sandy, are proud parents of Emily and Philip, who are now working in Washington D.C. and the Bay Area, respectively.
