Personal Interests and Education:
As a native of Kansas, Amy grew up in a small farm town. From moving bales of hay at age 10 and learning to drive at 11, she quickly learned the importance and responsibility that comes with hard work. These early lessons also gave Amy the tools to put herself through college by working nights and weekends, in an emergency room, in downtown Chicago.
From these experiences she developed one of her biggest goals in life:
“To give back as opportunities arise.”
One of these opportunities came in 2014 when she joined the Ronald McDonald, San Francisco Board and became the President of the Board in 2017. Shortly thereafter, in 2017, Amy led the merger with Stanford House, to become the Ronald McDonald House Charities - Bay Area. Currently she is honored to hold the position of Immediate Past President of the Board.
Amy is a graduate of Loyola University Chicago. Currently she lives in Menlo Park and enjoy playing golf and riding horses.

Our experience and structured planning process drives a comprehensive financial plan and customized investment strategies. Depending on where you are in your life and the priorities that matter most, our planning conversations may focus on liquidity management, your cash flow needs, asset replacement solutions such as insurance, estate planning strategies, or tax and legal structures such as trusts and philanthropic vehicles.
What’s really important to you—today and for the long term? UBS Wealth Way starts with questions and discussions that can help you organize your financial life into three key dimensions: Liquidity—to help provide cash flow for short-term expenses, Longevity—for longer-term needs and Legacy—for needs that go beyond your own.
UBS Wealth Way is an approach incorporating Liquidity. Longevity. Legacy. strategies that UBS Financial Services Inc. and our Financial Advisors can use to assist clients in exploring and pursuing their wealth management needs and goals over different time frames. This approach is not a promise or guarantee that wealth, or any financial results, can or will be achieved. All investments involve the risk of loss, including the risk of loss of the entire investment. Time frames may vary. Strategies are subject to individual client goals, objectives and suitability.
Host Anthony Pastore was joined by Ulrike Hoffmann-Burchardi, Chief Investment Officer Americas and Global Head of Equities, Kurt Reiman, Head of Fixed Income, CIO Americas, and Nathaniel Gabriel, CIO Equity Strategist, to look at how transformational innovation shaped the nation throughout history, drawing parallels to themes driving today’s investment landscape. They shared their perspectives on the current market outlook.
