Bob Lauer, CFP® has been in the Financial Services Industry 26+ years primarily working with High Net Worth Families across 15 states. He spent 19+ years at Merrill Lynch in the Chicago Suburbs and Franklin, TN offices working with his Wealth Management Client Associate Heather Pollina. Bob moved his team to UBS in 2025 for their world class research, resources, and solutions. Bob is the lead advisor and portfolio manager on the team. He works closely with prospective and new clients to develop a comprehensive Financial Plan to make sure they are well-educated going into retirement and making sure their assets last their lifetime and multi-generations after. Bob discovers needs, finds opportunities, and provides tailored, experience-backed advice. Bob is involved in design and presentation of financial plans, client reviews, portfolio strategies, and cash flow management. Bob is extremely personable and dedicated to client service.
Bob graduated from Western Illinois University with a B.A. in Finance. He earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER certificate in 2003. He and his wife, Lisa have a daughter, Alison, and 2 sons, Jack and William. Bob enjoys working out, playing golf, coaching youth football, traveling, cooking, as well as, watching the Chicago Cubs, Bears, and Blackhawks, SEC Football, and spending time with his family.

Heather brings several years of industry experience to the team, with a strong foundation in analytical thinking and operational execution. Her expertise plays a key role in successfully managing the day-to-day needs of our clients.
Heather is responsible for a wide range of client service functions, including onboarding, account maintenance, scheduling, money movement, inquiry resolution, and overall account administration. Her attention to detail and commitment to client satisfaction make her a valuable asset to the team.
Outside of work, Heather enjoys spending quality time with her husband, Andy, and their three children. As a family, they share a love for sports, traveling, and fostering dogs.
