Evans Lam began his wealth advisory and portfolio management career in 1991, and over the past three decades, has successfully helped clients manage their wealth throughout challenging market cycles. Evans joined UBS in 2008 from Citibank/Smith Barney after 17 years of consultative practice. He provides his clients, primarily UHNW executives and business owners, with investment, retirement, estate and legacy planning services. As a Senior Portfolio Manager, Evans sets himself apart from others in asset management by building and actively managing customized portfolios, capitalizing on his investment banking experience at Deutsche Bank, Toronto Dominion Bank, and First Boston.
Evans holds an MBA in Accounting and Finance and a BA in Economics from the University of Rochester (UR). As a scholarship recipient and a philanthropist, Evans' passion for education inspired him to endow multiple scholarships and a professorship at the University of Rochester. He is also instrumental in the revitalization of the UR Libraries and establishing the Eastman Performing Arts Medicine. Evans serves as a member of the University of Rochester's Board of Trustees and Chairman of the George Eastman Circle. He is also Chairman of the Southern California Foundation for the Preservation of Chinese Literature and History, Vice President of the Hong Kong School Alumni Federation Scholarship Foundation and Vice Chairman of the Morning Light Foundation. He was honored by the Chinese American Museum as a Historymaker with the Judge Ronald S.W. Lew Visionary Award in 2016.

Debbie Chen is a Financial Advisor at UBS Financial Services in the Pasadena International office. She has more than 20 years of financial services experience focusing on ultra-high net worth clients on the West Coast and in China, Taiwan and Hong Kong. Leveraging the global resources of UBS, Debbie delivers comprehensive, research-driven investment advice, wealth planning and lending to her clientele.
Previously, Debbie spent 11 years with HSBC and served as the Senior Relationship Manager for both West Coast Global Private Banking U.S. International/ Asia Corridor. In this role, Debbie provided full-service banking, lending, investment management, wealth strategies and solutions to ultra-high net worth individuals. Debbie was selected as top talent at HSBC and took part in the International RM Program in Dubai in 2014. She then transitioned from the Commercial Banking Division to Global Private Banking in 2016 based at the Beverly Hills office.
Debbie received a Bachelor of Arts in International & Global Studies from the University of California, Irvine. She holds the Series 7, 63 & 66 registrations. Debbie is fluent in Mandarin, Taiwanese and has moderate communication in Cantonese and Japanese. When not meeting with clients, Debbie enjoys traveling, multicultural cuisine and spending time with her family.
Leslie is The Lam Group’s Senior Relationship Manager and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM . She identifies our client’s needs and goals to create holistic wealth management plans and strategies. Leslie provides education on estate planning strategies and wealth transfer solutions, drawing on the expertise of the Advanced Planning Group at UBS, and working directly with trust attorneys and CPAs, to ensure our clients have comprehensive plans that meet all their needs and goals. Prior to joining UBS, she worked as a Senior Registered Client Associate at Citi Smith Barney and Wells Fargo Advisors.
Leslie was born and raised in Hawaii. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Pepperdine University in 2006 under the prestigious Citi Academy of Finance Scholarship. Leslie is registered with FINRA, holds her Series 7 and 66 licenses, and is a registered California Life Agent (Insurance License #0I23615). She enjoys spending time with her husband Glenn, and their two children.
Kelsey joined UBS Financial Services in March of 2015. She began her career in the investment industry in 2009 at LPL Financial. She empowers clients to navigate the 3 key strategies to financial success: Liquidity, Longevity and Legacy. She optimizes the client experience by effectively developing customized asset allocation strategies and efficiently delivering investment solutions.
Kelsey was born and raised in Southern California, and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from California State University San Marcos in 2012. Kelsey is FINRA-registered, a holder of the Series 7 and 66 licenses and a Chartered Retirement Plan Specialist Designation. She is also a registered California Life Agent (Insurance License #0K62906).
Albert has been with UBS Financial Services since February 2022, but more recently joined The Lam Group. Before UBS Financial Services in the US, he was a Finance Manager with UBS AG Hong Kong for 16 years, responsible for the financial and regulatory reporting for the Asia Pacific region. From 2001-2004, he was Senior Accountant for Secured Capital Corporation in Los Angeles. Albert is most qualified to anticipate and fulfill the needs of our international clients by applying his extensive global operational and administrative experience.
Albert received his Master of Science in Accountancy from California State University in Fullerton and Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from University of Hawaii at Manoa. He holds the Series 7 and 66 licenses and is fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin. He enjoys spending time with his family, cooking and traveling.
Helen is the Team Administrator for The Lam Group. With more than 10 years of financial services experience, Helen strives to ensure that clients’ administrative needs are handled effectively. She is committed to providing clients with premier services in order to deliver the highest level of service. Prior to joining UBS, Helen was VP Premier Relationship Manager at HSBC Bank USA and Senior Branch Premier Banker at Wells Fargo. Helen facilitates and maintains client relationships, general account management, product related inquiries, and asset consolidation. As a trusted professional, Helen demonstrates the highest level of integrity and accountability.
Helen received her Bachelor Degree in Accounting from South China Business College of GDUFS. She is a California Life Agent (Insurance License #0I66819), FINRA-registered, and currently holds Series 7, Series 66, Series 6, and Series 63. She is fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
