For your financial well-being
Every decision you make with regard to financial planning—whether it pertains to investments, insurance, education, housing, retirement and/or estate planning—can have some impact on your tax situation.
We are committed to helping you confirm that your current and future tax strategy supports your larger financial goals. Learn more.
With the complexity of today's markets and uncertainty about tomorrow's economy, good financial advice is more important than ever. As a team of dedicated Financial Advisors, we're committed to helping you organize your finances around your short term needs, your longer-term goals and what you envision for generations to come. Our knowledgeable perspective, good judgement and broad experience can help you meet your challenges and seize opportunities.
Working with diverse clients with specific needs, our team sees it as our top responsibility to understand each aspect of your unique and often complicated financial life.
Clients come to us in their peak working years or already in retirement, seeking planning guidance. Often they have assets —401(k)s, pensions, private equity plans, rollovers from previous jobs, family trusts, insurance and Social Security— scattered in different areas.
It’s important to bring together all of these potential retirement funding sources to create an accurate picture of your income when you stop working. Our investment strategies maximize your assets while balancing both stability and growth. And we always tailor our planning to your own personal timeline.
Our investment strategies are designed to keep pace with rising income needs and potentially weakening purchasing power. Because we have worked together on a financial plan that outlines your future goals so closely, we can create our customized asset allocations with your time horizon, cash flow needs, risk tolerances and tax implications uppermost in mind.
UBS’s open architecture platform allows us to choose from an array of different investment vehicles as we manage your portfolio. These can include equities, options tradings, fixed income, alternative investments and cash management. This gives us the freedom to provide the investment plan that best serves your unique needs.
More than just investments, our team provides solutions that encompass all aspects of your financial life. We’ll help you make informed decisions about everything from restructuring family wealth to minimizing the impact of taxes and planning for charitable giving. In addition to our network of tax and legal professionals, we are happy to collaborate with your estate attorneys and tax advisors. We work closely with families, often advising multiple generations on saving and investing.
We are here to provide quality strategies customized to your needs. We concentrate on developing long-term relationships through a commitment to quality client service. You can rely on our personalized advice, first-class solutions, and extensive wealth management experience.

Client relationships come first
The Duckworth Group is built around client relationships and working with multiple generations within families. Charles’s focus is on creating financial plans for HNW families, centered on helping generate income in retirement, and preserving wealth. As a Certified Financial PlannerTM, his planning starts with the question: “What is most important to you?” Each client and family has a unique answer; he provides each with a plan that is best suited to their needs.
Charles started his career in financial services during the financial crisis of 2008 and joined UBS in 2015. He enjoys assisting clients’ children with budgeting, saving and debt management. He is particularly passionate about helping clients as they experience difficult circumstances in their lives, such as the death of a loved one, a time when they need guidance and direction as they deal with loss. In all of his work, he takes satisfaction in knowing that the solutions he provides truly benefit people.
