Steve Daugherty's journey into the financial services industry began with a drive to provide for his family and secure their future. After serving in the United States Marine Corps and working his way through undergraduate and graduate school, Steve found himself lacking fulfillment in corporate life.
A lack of professional challenge and personal satisfaction lead Steve to make a major career change and join Dean Witter (later Morgan Stanley) as a financial advisor.
In 1998, Steve founded the Daugherty Group at Morgan Stanley, leveraging his entrepreneurial spirit and desire to serve others. Later, in 2007, he moved the group to UBS Financial Services, drawn by UBS's focus on delivering comprehensive wealth management solutions to individual clients.
Steve is deeply passionate about the impact he makes in the lives of people by helping them solve their financial challenges,. Today, as part of UBS, Steve and his team are dedicated to providing strategic financial planning, critical retirement income planning, and investment management for their clients and their families.
Among his top priorities in his practice is assisting clients in building an investment strategy designed to maintain rising income and purchasing power for a comfortable and independent retirement. Furthermore, Steve strongly believes in his investment philosophy and the strategies he recommends to his clients, ensuring that every investment aligns with a well-designed comprehensive financial plan. Kevin Daugherty has had a lifelong connection to the wealth management industry, witnessing firsthand the impact of financial advising through his father's work. Growing up, he observed the way his dad built meaningful relationships with clients and their families, inspiring Kevin to follow a similar path.
After graduating from Arizona State University in 2006, Kevin took his first steps into the industry as a Wealth Planning Analyst. In this role, he provided essential support to over 150 financial advisors, gaining valuable experience in planning and communication that laid the groundwork for his future practice. It was during this period that he discovered the crucial distinction between being an advisor and being a leader. Witnessing his father and his partner, Marty, exemplify leadership by actively advocating for their clients, Kevin realized that he wanted to follow in their footsteps and become a true leader in the financial advising realm.
Kevin's passion for helping clients achieve their goals and dreams only grew stronger as he saw the positive impact his work had on their lives and families. Embracing this newfound vision, he has grown into the role of a Wealth Advisor and Senior Vice President at UBS.

Christen discovered her passion for helping others build confidence, particularly when it comes to their wealth and future, early on and has been committed to doing so for over a decade. As a partner and Financial Advisor with The Daugherty Group, she believes that clients deserve to work with a team of leaders who will advocate for, defend, and protect what is most important to them and their family.
The foundation of each client relationship is built with a deep understanding of each client’s unique situation, concerns, aspirations, and values. Beyond helping clients make smart decisions about their investments she focuses on identifying tax mitigation, wealth transition, asset protection and charitable giving strategies to enhance their overall wealth. She is a proud mom to her daughter, Zoe, and enjoys exploring new restaurants, playing tennis, cooking, and traveling. Her and Zoe can be found cheering on the DePaul University Men’s Soccer team where her husband, Mark, is the team’s head coach.
She is an active Associate Board member for Urban Initiatives, an organization whose mission is to use the power of sport and play to empower Chicago’s youth to achieve academic success, develop social-emotional skills, and build social capital.

Throughout her career she has helped clients navigate multiple market cycles and corrections. Personal Life
Outside of work, Molly is passionate about making a difference in her community. She participates in volunteer opportunities with Northern Illinois Food Bank, Special Olympics of Illinois and Misericordia. She along with her husband and three children are active members of St. Michael Church in Wheaton .
Marianne joined UBS in 2020 and serves as a Registered Client Service Associate. She is responsible for managing client accounts, cash flow needs, account opening and trade support.
Marianne's reliability, energy and proven skills brought her to The Daugherty Group and she also brings it to each interaction that she has within her role.

In her free time Marianne enjoys spending time with her family, reading traveling and attending concerts.
