Paul R. Coyner, CRPS®, has over 28 years of experience working in the financial services industry. Early in his career Paul worked as an Industrial Engineer for several years. After receiving his MBA from Notre Dame he moved into commercial lending and then became a successful bond trader with Goldenberg, Hehmeyer & Co.. Paul's understanding of the global markets was the perfect foundation for his career as a financial advisor which began in 2005 at Morgan Stanley. Paul has built a successful practice working with numerous companies through his expertise of 401(k)/Profit Sharing plans, deferred compensation, and pension plans. In each case, Paul is able to act as an RIA in a fiduciary capacity by utilizing a 3(21) or 3(38) contract.
In 2015, Paul joined UBS Financial Services as a First Vice President and Senior Retirement Plan Consultant. In 2019 he was promoted to Senior Vice President. The importance of being "retirement ready" which incorporates an aggregate view of employee benefits helps lead to his clients overall "financial wellness." Understanding client needs and delivering solutions to exceed their goals is the focus of his practice.
Paul was named to the 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019 & 2020 Financial Times Top 401 Retirement Plan Advisors list and was named to the UBS Director's Council in 2019. He was also a recent finalist for the 2019 DC GENIE Awards. In 2009 and 2010, Paul was also an integral member of a team that was recognized by Plan Sponsors as PLANADVISER's Top 100 Retirement Plan Advisers for 2010.
Paul earned an MBA with honors from the University of Notre Dame in 1992 after receiving an Industrial Engineering degree with honors from Northeastern University in 1987. Paul has been married to his wife, Dina, for 31 years and they have four boys. He has coached his kids in soccer, baseball and basketball and enjoys attending concerts and playing tennis in addition to golf in his spare time.
Russell P. Coyner, CRPS®, AWMA®, joined the Coyner Wealth Management Group in early 2016. Prior to joining the team at UBS, Russ worked at Prudential Securities. Russ brings a youthful passion to the team and a dynamic personality that works well with company employees.
Russ is responsible for assisting with investment research and creating financial plans utilizing the firm's financial goal analysis tools. He also serves as an intermediary between HR team members and Retirement Plan Providers to ensure set deadlines are met, efficient processes are established and operational task items are completed on a timely basis. He assists with quarterly plan reviews and is instrumental in plan benchmarking and new proposals. Russ also serves as an additional resource for participant education and is available for participants to reach out to for any questions pertaining to their retirement account.
Russell earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Northern Illinois University. Russ is FINRA registered and currently holds his series 6, 7, 63 and 66 license as well as Life & Health Insurance. Russ enjoys many sports (baseball, golf, etc..) and is an avid fitness enthusiast.
Komal joined UBS in 2019 as a Registered Client Service Associate. Komal handles the operational and administrative side of the business and is available to clients for their specific needs. Her efficient and detail oriented abilities are very important to our business.
Prior to joining UBS, Komal began her career at Merrill Edge as an Investment Specialist. Komal attended Lewis University and majored in finance with a minor accounting. She holds her series 7, 66 and 63 securities licenses . In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, cooking , and traveling.
Scott A. Coyner joined the Coyner Wealth Management Group in 2022. Prior to joining the team at UBS, Scott worked at the UBS Wealth Advice Center in Weehawken, NJ. Scott brings a youthful passion to the team and an outgoing personality that works well with clients.
Scott is responsible for assisting with investment research and creating financial plans utilizing the firm's financial goal analysis tools. His primary focus is on private wealth management including client portfolio guidance and education. Scott also serves as an additional resource for corporate client participant education and is available for participants to reach out to for any questions pertaining to their retirement account.
Scott earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from the University of Iowa. Scott is FINRA registered and currently holds his series 7 and 66 license as well as Life & Health Insurance. Scott enjoys many sports (tennis, golf, etc..) and enjoys spending time with friends and family.”
