Greg knew as a pre-med student in college that helping people was what he wanted to do in his life. Today, as a UBS Private Wealth Advisor, his path has changed, but his goal remains the same. Caring about clients’ financial and personal well-being. Helping them achieve goals and take care of their families and future. Building long-term relationships with grandparents, parents, and children. That’s what he does each day—and he loves it.
Greg joined UBS Private Wealth Management in 2020 after a decade-long career at Goldman Sachs. Working across UBS and connecting clients with the firm’s global experts, he and his team integrate multigenerational financial planning and deeply disciplined portfolio management with solutions-driven advice. Investing on behalf of his clients’ best interests is Greg’s passion. Service, integrity, transparency, and professionalism shape every decision as he strives to earn trust and instill confidence.
Greg currently resides in St. Louis, Missouri, with his wife Kate, a former elementary school teacher, and four children – Murphy (5), Finn (4), Lucy (3), and Patrick (under 1). Outside of work, Greg is a voracious reader who enjoys watching and playing both hockey and golf, and when not working, he loves visiting family in Lake George, New York, and Vero Beach, Florida. Greg is also an active supporter of Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital in St. Louis, and the Tom Coughlin Jay Fund, which helps families tackle childhood cancer. He holds a degree from Lehigh University (BS) where he graduated with honors.
For Les, there’s nothing more important than helping his clients – sophisticated families who take a multigenerational view on wealth planning – navigate their complex financial lives to achieve better outcomes. By accessing the firm’s extensive resources, as well as working closely with clients’ trust and estate attorneys and CPAs, Les creatively crafts asset allocation solutions with tax efficiency. In a constantly changing world, he hopes clients can feel confident about their decisions and the legacies they’re building.
Outside of work, Les has served in a number community leadership roles. He was treasurer and finance committee for the Courage Kenny Foundation (2013 – 2019); treasurer, investment committee chair, and Foundation board chair for the Courage Foundation (2005 – 2013); a member of the United States Ski Association (USSA) Region 1 Board (2015 – 2017); a member of the Team Gilboa Board (2015 – 2017); and a member of the Edina Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) Board.
A proud native and resident of the Twin Cities in Minnesota, Les enjoys spending time with his family and friends at their mountain home in Wyoming. He loves anything outdoors, including yoga, hiking, cycling, alpine, and Nordic skiing, and he is especially passionate about supporting his wife, Theresa, who teaches English to immigrants in Jackson, Wyoming, via Central Wyoming College. Theresa is also a tutor for Paper Airplanes, an organization that provides free language and skills instruction to individuals affected by conflict, and she is a board member for Coombs Outdoors, a team that empowers local youth to grow and thrive through outdoor recreation.
