    With over two decades providing advice, Charles has the knowledge and experience to understand people and their challenges. His emotional connections - as a patient listener and a reliable advocate - are what inspire confidence. As founding partner of a leading UBS Private Wealth team, The Charles Day Group, he delivers comprehensive planning and portfolio management solutions for complex wealth. But beyond their investment needs, his clients often come to him during difficult life transitions. Their needs range from estate planning and mortgage financing to business sale and succession.

    In addition to covering a select group of High Net Worth clients, Charles is responsible for managing the personal portfolios of senior executives at UBS and other Wall Street firms. Previously, he was selected to serve in a similar capacity at Morgan Stanley.   
     
    Born and raised in Manhattan, Charles began his career at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and then in the office of the mayor of New York City. He spent his first four years after law school as an appellate prosecutor in Brooklyn, then joined a large corporate law firm. Today, as a UBS Managing Director, he combines the skills he honed from his law career to analyze issues, plan, strategize, manage stressful situations and build relationships. 
     
    Outside of work, Charles serves as a member of the Board and Treasurer for Women in Need, NYC's largest private provider of shelter for homeless families. He is also a member of the leadership council of The Nature Conservancy, a prominent national environmental group. Charles is a world traveler—50 countries and seven continents. He is an ardent fan of the New York Yankees, Giants and Rangers. 
     
    Charles and his wife of 30 years have two adult children.

    Empathy inspires confidence

    Paul began his career in Finance in 2008 as an intern.  Shortly after graduating from Hofstra University in 2009, he was introduced to Charles and was only supposed to assist him for two weeks.  Fast forward, and Paul has spent almost 15 years, his entire career, in wealth management working alongside Charles. 

    Today, at The Charles Day Group, he focuses primarily on generational wealth planning, investments, and building client relationships.  Helping clients meet their needs is always his main focus.  Paul assists Charles with asset allocation and portfolio construction and implementation.  He is knowledgeable in Structured Products and Alternative Investments. 

    Paul holds an MBA from New York University and a BBA in Finance from Hofstra University.  He is a CERTIFED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM and a Chartered Financial Consultant.

      After spending the first part of her career as a relationship manager in the insurance industry, Sneha joined UBS three years ago as an advisor in the Wealth Management Investment Center. It was here that she was able to exercise her desire to help people while learning how important financial planning is in helping clients accomplish their short, medium and long-term goals. 
       
      Sneha joined The Charles Day Group as a Senior Wealth Strategy Associate in April 2022, where her natural affinity for relationships helps her understand and quantify clients' financial goals and priorities. Through these conversations, Sneha is able to create a financial plan with personalized investment and asset allocation analyses based on clients’ current and future needs, wants, and wishes.  
       
      Sneha’s main priority is to help clients feel comfortable with their relationship with finances. Since joining The Charles Day Group, she has enjoyed the team-based approach taken with every aspect of our clients' needs.         Kelliann began her career with The Charles Day Group in 2018. Her passion for simplifying her clients’ financial, and non-financial, lives is what led her to private wealth management. It’s building relationships, understanding clients' wants and needs and helping them make confident decisions that inspire her as a Wealth Strategy Associate. Kelliann provides support to the Charles Day Group acting as the teams’ business operations and relationship manager. She is committed to ensuring that every client has the best possible experience with The Charles Day Group and UBS.  

        Kelliann’s passion for guiding her clients’ financial success and freedom has prompted her to pursue her Certified Financial Planner designation. She currently holds her series 7 and 66 licenses, as well as the AWMA designation.

His responsibilities include daily monitoring of accounts, producing customized client reports, account administration, recordkeeping, and problem-solving. While these tasks make for a busy daily schedule, his passion is building relationships and ensuring that each client can trust him to deliver the exceptional results that have become synonymous with The Charles Day Group.

          Prior to joining the team in April of 2022, Luke began with UBS as a member of the Middle Office working in the supervision and regulatory department. In his previous role, Luke worked with Private Wealth Advisors and the larger UBS client base providing the highest level of service to guarantee all industry regulatory standards were met.

          He is excited to continue fostering relationships and maintaining the confidence that clients have placed in The Charles Day Group.

              David serves as a Senior Wealth Strategist in Private Wealth, splitting his time between New York and Stamford. David focuses on comprehensive strategies to assist UBS clients with their complex financial needs such as preservation, transfer and management of wealth. He serves as an internal resource for UBS clients on all issues related to tax, estate planning, philanthropy, family business succession and wealth planning.

              After receiving a B.A. from Trinity College, David continued to earn a J.D. from Fordham Law School and an LL.M. in taxation from New York University.

              Professional History

              Prior to joining UBS, David worked at Wiggin and Dana where he was a partner in the Private Client Services Department focusing on the representation of wealthy individuals and families, along with business succession and charitable planning. Prior to Wiggin and Dana, he was a partner in the Private Clients Group at Cummings & Lockwood.

              David is on the advisory boards of the Central Park Conservancy, the Fairfield County Community Foundation and AmeriCares, as well as a former member of the Estates and Gifts Committee of the New York City Bar.

              Publications and Speeches

              David has authored over one hundred articles on charitable, estate and tax planning and given several hundred lectures and webinars to lawyer and non-lawyer audiences throughout the United States. He serves as the Chairperson of the Family Business Committee for Trusts and Estates Magazine and was previously the Chairperson of the Charitable Giving Committee for Trusts and Estates Magazine for eight years. While practicing, he was listed in The Best Lawyers in America for two practice areas – Trusts and Estates and Charities/Non-Profits, as well as Connecticut Super Lawyers.

              Gregg serves as a Structured Solutions Consultant for the New York City and Northern New Jersey Market Areas, and Private Wealth Management; responsible for the positioning of Structured Products across all asset classes. Gregg works closely with Financial Advisors and their clients, helping them understand the risks and rewards of structured products, and how both portfolio and tactical ideas can fit into a client’s overall portfolio strategy.

              Professional History
              Gregg joined UBS in 1998 and has held a variety of positions in Capital Markets. In his previous role, he served as a Municipal Bond Portfolio Specialist on the Northeast Municipal Bond Desk. Prior to that, he worked in Unit Investment Trusts as a member of the Equity Advisory Group. He has also served as a Financial Advisor in New York City.

Understanding the complexities of intergenerational wealth and the challenges faced by UHNW clients, Charles aligns specific needs to the full suite of UBS capabilities.
