    Developing stability for the future

When I sit down with my clients and their families, I see all the details of their life's work, then bring a new perspective to manage risk and reduce volatility. Working closely with select individuals, our team is focused entirely on understanding every detail of our clients' financial lives. I’m the steady hand helping you navigate to calmer waters after significant windfalls or life changes. My role is to identify your needs and create the best strategies to meet them. Your wealth represents a lifetime of work and sacrifice. You deserve a tailored approach.

A seat at the table for everyone

It's an honor to be part of these important conversations, and I’m driven by the trust our clients place in us. I've focused on private wealth management, especially for families, supporting them through both booming and challenging economic times. I keep my highly select client base small to provide personalized attention. My work with clients is very personal, often involving deep engagement with their ambitions and goals. I pride myself on truly understanding my clients' needs, fears, and aspirations. Private wealth management is not just my job; it's my passion.

The most exciting part of my work with families is the chance to educate the rising generation about money. Sitting around a table with family members, planning together for the future, is one of the most fulfilling roles I can have.

When I started in the business over 30 years ago, I immediately recognized the opportunity to offer true comprehensive wealth management.

    Understanding the nature of growth

There's something magical about the crisp, cool air of a mountain trail and the clear ripples of a stream. Nature's beauty is remarkable, and I believe we're here to take care of it. I think managing finances is a lot like preserving nature through conservation. Both are vulnerable to things we can't control, but with some smart planning and understanding of risks, we can navigate through the ups and downs. I work closely my clients so we can build stability and consistency over the years.

A steady hand managing all the details

When I entered the financial field over 30 years ago, I saw the need for real, comprehensive wealth management. I've been through booming markets and painful downturns, which taught me the importance of helping people “live today, and plan for tomorrow”, as the saying goes. My career has been all about providing multi-generational wealth planning that meets the financial and philanthropic goals of my clients and their families. I work with successful entrepreneurs who want to give back and make the world a better place. Having an advisor helps them achieve those goals: one who manages their portfolio, coordinates with their outside tax and legal advisors, and understands every detail of their financial life.

I know successful wealth planning isn’t one-size-fits-all. I am usually the first call my clients make when their life changes: a job, a child, a new adventure. So, I spend a lot of time getting to know my clients, their risk tolerance, expected gains, stability, and above all, their values. Everyone deserves personalized advice and dedicated attention to their goals.

When I'm not working with clients, you'll find me out in nature, skiing, fly fishing, and mostly focusing on preserving our waterways for future generations. But above all, I live for my three boys, Colby, Clayton, and Carter, instilling in them the same love and respect for the outdoors that I have.

It’s an approach that stands out in an industry that can feel intimidating and overwhelming. It also shows wisdom: by being approachable and easy to talk to, clients tend to open up to Emma, which results in better communication and, ultimately, more informed financial planning.

As the first point of contact, Emma plays a crucial role—helping clients solve problems, understanding their goals and concerns and facilitating the execution of financial plans. Her role in onboarding is essential to building long-term relationships based on trust and transparency. “We are not here to sell clients products and short-term success,” she says. “We want to build a lifelong relationship and help them achieve their long-term financial goals.”

Emma is a graduate of the University of South Carolina, and currently resides in New Jersey on a small riverside farm with her husband and one year old son.
