With over 30 years of experience, John leads the team in developing in-depth financial plans and wealth management strategies for individual clients. He is committed to providing a comprehensive wealth management experience to ultra-high net worth families and individuals. His emphasis on financial planning and strategy help clients stay the course even during tenuous markets. John takes the most pride in earning clients' trust while helping them to reach their life goals and aspirations. John earned his Bachelor's degree in business administration at Campbell University, where he was a baseball All-American selection. After graduating, he played professional baseball with the Baltimore Orioles, the Philadelphia Phillies and the Chicago Cubs. In 1991, John entered the financial services industry by joining Dean Witter Reynolds, currently known as Morgan Stanley. John came to UBS in 2008 and is a graduate of the Wharton School of Business Financial Advisory Program where he earned the Wealth Advisor designation. Most recently John was honored as a Forbes Best-in-State Wealth advisor in Florida for 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026.
Away from the office, John has deeply rooted ties to the community, serving on many boards including The Vincent House and a former board member of the Canterbury School of Florida. John and his wife, Lisa, have four daughters: Mallory, Madison, Miranda and Milan and one grandson, Colt. John and Lisa live in Gulfport, Florida.

Brian’s career includes senior roles at Morgan Stanley and UBS, where he currently serves as Senior Portfolio Manager and Senior Vice President of Investments. A graduate of the prestigious Wharton School of Business Financial Advisory Program, Brian also holds the Wealth Advisor designation.
Brian is equally dedicated to philanthropy, serving as a trusted consultant to numerous nonprofits in the Tampa Bay area. He was a longstanding board member of the Florida Dream Center and actively participates in various global missions. In addition to his professional and philanthropic commitments, Brian enjoys mentoring young professionals and spending quality time with his wife of 33 years, their three sons and daughter in law.
As a discretionary Portfolio manager and financial advisor, Trent is a 32-year veteran that brings a uniquely qualified skillset to the Synergy team. His career began in the tax-free fixed municipal bond industry dedicated to institutional clients. Inclusive in this framework are fiduciary responsibilities, integrity, communication and investment acumen helping to prioritize the objectives, goals and aspirations of each client. He maintains a client-centric model of an open dialogue to better understand expectations so as to effectively execute a comprehensive and holistic investment strategy. He specializes in discretionary money management and fixed income securities whiles serving a multitude of clients ranging from retired executives, entrepreneurs, generational trusts to professional athletes. His focused dedication as a fiduciary strives to achieve a best-in-class wealth experience.
Following his senior year of football eligibility at Auburn, he left to work for a U.S. Presidential campaign and political action committee in Washington, D.C. Following the primary, he accepted an opportunity to work as a legislative analyst for Congressman Bill “C.W. Bill Young. As his aspirations changed, he returned to St. Pete to pursue his passion in finance and investment banking. He holds a Portfolio Management designation which assumes the highest fiduciary standard of accountability to his clients.
A third generation St. Petersburg native, Trent is a strong community advocate in the Tampa Bay area. He is a life-long member of First United Methodist church and has been involved with multiple charitable organizations including All Childrens Hospital Foundation, St. Petersburg Museum of Fine Arts, St. Pete Museum and Operation New Uniform. Trent is a proud father of two, Reece and Mallory, a graduate from Auburn University where he was an Auburn Football Letterman.
Mallory is responsible for business development, key marketing initiatives and helping provide the advice and service that our clients have come to expect. Mallory’s well rounded background in financial services, work ethic and dedication to the families we serve make her an ideal Financial Advisor for the team.
Mallory has grown up in the industry, starting her career 10 years ago at UBS’s headquarters in Weehawken, NJ. She worked as a Marketing Specialist for two years, building a foundation of knowledge in financial services and familiarizing herself with the expansive resources available at UBS. In 2018, Mallory transitioned into a management role in Tampa, FL, where she trained financial advisors, their teams and clients on UBS’s technology platforms. Most recently, Mallory worked on The Clegg Group, a UBS team in Bonita Springs.
Mallory currently serves on the board of the Sunken Gardens Forever Foundation and is an active member of St. Petersburg Debutante society. She graduated from the University of Miami, where she majored in economics. Mallory resides in sunny St. Petersburg, FL, with her husband, Mark, and son, Colt.
Riley brings a strong background in wealth management and financial planning, with a focus on helping individuals, families, and business owners navigate the complexities that accompany significant wealth. He began his career with UBS in 2018, working alongside his father, Brian Robinson, while earning his degree in Economics from the University of Central Florida.
After graduating in 2021, Riley spent three years with UBS in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he focused on developing comprehensive financial plans and helping clients align their investment strategies with their long-term goals. He later returned to St. Petersburg and rejoined the team, continuing a family tradition of serving clients through thoughtful advice, long-term relationships, and a high level of personal service.
Today, Riley works closely with clients across investment management, financial planning, and broader wealth management needs. He has a particular interest in working with business owners and families whose financial lives are closely tied to privately held businesses, helping them think through liquidity events, business transitions, concentrated wealth, and the integration of personal and business planning.
Riley and his wife, Taylor, live in the St. Petersburg area with their daughter. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, boating, and pursuing his interest in watches and horology.
Ann Marie Atchison leads our team’s administrative and operational support functions, bringing decades of experience, deep industry knowledge, and a commitment to exceptional client service. As a primary point of contact for clients, she excels at building meaningful relationships, anticipating needs, resolving complex challenges, and delivering a seamless wealth management experience. Known for her attention to detail and proactive approach, Ann Marie is dedicated to providing the personalized service and support required to help clients navigate the complexities that often accompany significant wealth.
Ann Marie has been serving clients in the financial services industry since graduating from the University of South Florida in 1999. She earned her Master of Business Administration from Saint Leo University in 2006 and holds Series 7, 31, 63, and 65 securities licenses, along with life and annuities insurance licenses.
A lifelong Floridian, Ann Marie has called Temple Terrace home for more than 35 years and is deeply involved in her community. She serves on the board of the GFWC Junior Woman’s Club of Temple Terrace and is the Paymaster for Marine Corps League Detachment 1440, Marines Forever. She also participates in an annual cancer awareness walk in honor of her mother, a breast cancer survivor.
Outside of work, Ann Marie enjoys spending time with her nieces, traveling, visiting theme parks, attending concerts, and cheering on the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Originally from Buffalo, New York, Mackenzie now resides in Tampa with her husband, Matt, and their dog, Pickles. Outside of the office, she enjoys traveling, spending time with family, and visiting Disney World.
Lexie recently graduated from University of Central Florida with her Bachelor’s degree in History and a minor in Anthropology. She began working as an intern for The Posey Bass Financial Group immediately following high school graduation and has been with the team throughout her time in college, where she will continue working as she begins law school. Throughout her time with UBS, she has gained exposure in a number of areas such as client service, event coordinating, and business development. When Lexie is not in the office or the classroom, she’s likely at the beach or at the dog club with her miniature poodle, Mr. Bingley.
Julia Fidelis is a Client Service Associate based in Tampa, Florida. She joined the team as an intern in 2024 and transitioned into a part-time role in May 2025. A Florida native, Julia is currently a Junior pursuing a degree in Artificial Intelligence and Business Analytics with a minor in Finance at the University of South Florida.
Outside of work and academics, Julia brings a competitive, team-oriented mindset shaped by more than 12 years of playing volleyball. Through the sport, she developed strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and time management skills that support her role in delivering exceptional client service and coordinating team initiatives. Her experience balancing athletics, academics, and professional responsibilities has strengthened her ability to adapt, stay organized, and perform in fast-paced environments. She also enjoys playing pickleball and staying active, continually seeking opportunities for growth both on and off the court.
