An industry veteran since 1987, Brian has been instrumental in the development and success of Synergy Wealth Consultants. With his progressive vision and strategic direction, he has built the team into one of Florida’s top wealth management practices. Brian provides comprehensive wealth management to affluent investors to help them take advantage of the unique opportunities that come with substantial wealth. Brian serves a limited number of elite clients that range from business owners and corporate executives to ultra-high net worth families. He provides a holistic wealth management experience including trust and estate planning, generational wealth transfer, philanthropy, and acts as our clients' own global family office.
His career has led him to stints at Raymond James Financial Services and Morgan Stanley where he was honored with the titles Senior Portfolio Manager and Wealth Advisor. Brian is a graduate of the prestigious Wharton School of Business Financial Advisory Program where he earned the Wealth Advisor designation.
Philanthropy is a large part of Brian’s business and in turn, bleeds into his personal life. Brian is very active in the Tampa Bay Community, serving as a consultant for several nonprofits and most recently was given a Global Award from “Invest in Others” for his efforts in the fight against human trafficking. He has spent many years on the executive board of the Florida Dream Center and is an active participant in Global Missions. He enjoys mentoring young business professionals and spends his time out of the office with his wife of 30 years and their three sons. Together they enjoy traveling, boating and fishing.
With over 30 years of experience, John leads the team in developing in-depth financial plans and wealth management strategies for individual clients. He is committed to providing a comprehensive wealth management experience to ultra-high net worth families and individuals. His emphasis on financial planning and strategy help clients stay the course even during tenuous markets. John takes the most pride in earning clients' trust while helping them to reach their life goals and aspirations. He strives to always do what is best for our clients and is dedicated to helping them transform a lifetime of achievement into a legacy that lives on for generations to come.
John earned his Bachelor's degree in business administration at Campbell University, where he was a baseball All-American selection. After graduating, he played professional baseball with the Baltimore Orioles, the Philadelphia Phillies and the Chicago Cubs. In 1991, John entered the financial services industry by joining Dean Witter Reynolds, currently known as Morgan Stanley. John came to UBS in 2008 and is a graduate of the Wharton School of Business Financial Advisory Program where he earned the Wealth Advisor designation. Most recently John was honored as a Forbes Best-in-State Wealth advisor in Florida for 2023.
Away from the office, John has deeply rooted ties to the community, serving on many boards including The Vincent House and a former board member of the Canterbury School of Florida. John and his wife, Lisa, have four daughters: Mallory, Madison, Miranda and Milan. John and his family live in Gulfport, Florida.
Mallory is responsible for business development, key marketing initiatives and helping provide the advice and service that our clients have come to expect. Mallory’s well rounded background in financial services, work ethic and dedication to the families we serve make her an ideal Financial Advisor for the team.
Mallory has grown up in the industry, starting her career six years ago at UBS’s headquarters in Weehawken, NJ. She worked as a Marketing Specialist for two years, building a foundation of knowledge in financial services and familiarizing herself with the expansive resources available at UBS. In 2018, Mallory transitioned into a management role in Tampa, FL, where she trained financial advisors, their teams and clients on UBS’s technology platforms. Most recently, Mallory worked on The Clegg Group, a UBS team in Bonita Springs.
Mallory currently serves on the board of the Sunken Gardens Forever Foundation, is heavily involved in the St. Petersburg chapter of Junior League, and is an active member of St. Petersburg Debutante society. She graduated from the University of Miami, where she majored in economics. Mallory resides in sunny St. Petersburg, FL, where she enjoys working out, going on walks with her dog Laila and visiting with her three younger sisters.
Ann Marie leads our team in administrative and operational support bringing a wealth of experience, skill, and knowledge to all situations. As a primary point of contact, she uses her expertise to build relationships, anticipate client needs, navigate complex problems and deliver impeccable service. She prides herself in building strong relationships with clients and creating a highly personalized wealth management experience that goes above and beyond. Ann Marie provides the commitment and attention to detail required to help manage the complexity that comes with great wealth.
Ann Marie has worked in the financial services industry since graduating from the University of South Florida in 1999. She received her Master's in Business Administration from Saint Leo University in June 2006. Ann Marie holds her Series 7, 31, 63 and 65 securities licenses and life and annuities insurance licenses. Ann Marie was born and raised in Florida and is very active in the Temple Terrace community, where she has lived for over 35 years. Ann Marie currently sits on the board of the GFWC Junior Women’s Club, Temple Terrace chapter. She also participates in the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk, in support of her mother, who is a breast cancer survivor. She is an avid hockey fan, enjoys spending time with her nieces, going to theme parks, attending concerts and traveling.
Mackenzie began her career in financial services four years ago as an intern at UBS. Mackenzie is known for delivering exemplary client service with attention to detail and enthusiasm for exceeding clients' expectations. Born and raised in Buffalo, NY, Mackenzie now lives locally in Tampa. She enjoys taking trips to Disney World, traveling, visiting family, and trips to the park with her dog Pickles.
Lexie recently graduated from University of Central Florida with her Bachelor’s degree in History and a minor in Anthropology. She began working as an intern for The Posey Bass Financial Group immediately following high school graduation and has been with the team throughout her time in college, where she will continue working as she begins law school. Throughout her time with UBS, she has gained exposure in a number of areas such as client service, event coordinating, and business development. When Lexie is not in the office or the classroom, she’s likely at the beach or at the dog club with her miniature poodle, Mr. Bingley.
Billy is currently double majoring in marketing and finance with a minor in business analytics at the University of Tampa. As an intern with Synergy Wealth Consultants, Billy assists with administrative duties for team including client service and scheduling. Billy is also contributes to key initiatives on our team such as financial planning, marketing and branding.
In his free time, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, exploring the Tampa area, reading, and volunteering with Breezy Secret Santa, a group in his hometown that puts together and delivers gifts to the elderly for different holidays.
