    Making a difference
    Bill has been involved with a number of organizations that support entrepreneurship.  He is a past board member of the Council for Entrepreneurial Development and a past judge for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year awards.

    A member of the UNC Chapel Hill golf team while in college, after graduation he played professional golf  for four years. Bill has continued his work with the golf program at his alma mater, serving as the Chairman of the UNC Executive Cup multiple times. He was also a founding member of the 1928 Society (which supports both men's and women's golf programs).

    While Bill loves his work, he is also passionate about spending time with his wife, Jennifer, and their three kids.  He and his family enjoy hiking, tennis and golf.

    More than 40 years ago, Bruce began his career as a credit analyst. He always loved the markets and credits that to those few shares of stock his uncle gave him when he was five years old. After various managerial and commercial banking positions, he joined UBS, and is known for his professionalism, easy going nature and simply just being there for his clients when they need him.  When asked what his favorite hobby is, Bruce emphatically responds, "I like to work." Today, having a real ability to speak comfortably with every generation, he focuses primarily on clients' intergenerational wealth transfer goals.

        Having built his wealth management practice from the ground up, Ben has a solid understanding of the needs and goals of the individuals he serves. He's walked with his clients through both the high points and challenges in their lives. As a Financial Advisor and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER TM (CFP®), Ben understands the human element in working with his clients. He is not your typical CFP professional. While he delivers strategic thinking and numbers-based analysis, Ben's focus is on people and relationships. He enjoys connecting his tactical expertise with the human side of wealth management—learning what matters to his clients, what makes them worry, what brings them joy. He is a born teacher and his approach is always one of collaboration and education.

Invited speaker that rotated among corporate headquarters, nuclear power plants, and administrative offices across North Carolina and South Carolina giving educational presentations to their senior employees on retirement planning topics.
        • North Carolina Association of CPA's (NCACPA) - Frequent speaker to their conferences, providing continuing education to CPAs maintaining their professional license. Audiences have ranged in size to as many as 400 CPAs.
        • Various investment clubs and local retirement groups on a wide range of financial topics.

                Brad spent the first twelve years of his career as a financial advisor before co-founding a company that develops interactive online tools and content to help older adults navigate complex senior living decisions. During his time as a founder, Brad became a nationally recognized speaker on the intersections between senior living and finances, particularly as it relates to continuing care retirement communities, and was quoted frequently by national publications as an expert in the field.

                After ten years of growing that company, Brad returned to his professional roots as a financial advisor with UBS and the SSG Wealth Management Group. Brad leverages his financial planning and entrepreneurial experience to help business owners and high-net worth families plan for their liquidity, longevity, and legacy goals through comprehensive wealth management.
