Jason Sharpe is a Financial Advisor for Short Sharpe Wealth Management at UBS Financial Services. He began his career at JPMorgan Chase in 2006, serving his clients as a Private Client Banker. In 2015, Jason joined UBS with his business partner Neil Short, where he became a Financial Advisor. He uses his years of banking and client service experience to handle a number of duties for his clients, including lending requests and life insurance contracts. Most importantly, Jason coordinates the financial planning process for his team, first by building a comprehensive goal-based plan, then by reviewing it on an ongoing basis with each client.

Jason is a native Texan, born in Dallas and raised in Houston. He moved to Austin in 2001 to attend the University of Texas to study Finance, and the city has been his home ever since.

Jason and his wonderful girlfriend Lyndse have a blended family of two sons and two dogs. Lyndse's son Thomas is a senior in high school, preparing for his first year of college (location still undecided) with an intent to study Engineering and Robotics. Jason's young son Landon is in his last year of preschool, and Jason is hard at work instilling his love of baseball in his son.

Both Jason and Lyndse are strong advocates of animal rescue and adoption, as both four-legged kids are former strays. The Moose (golden retriever) has been Jason's buddy since he was found as a stray in 2013. Lana (pit bull) was a Hurricane Harvey refugee until Lyndse adopted her after the storm in 2017.

In his free time, Jason can usually be found in the kitchen or in front of the BBQ pit, cooking elaborate meals for his family and friends. Like most Texans, he considers his specialties to be anything grilled, smoked, or just large quantities of meat. There is always sports on TV in the Sharpe household, as Jason is a devoted fan of the Houston Astros, Houston Texans, and Texas Longhorns.

Neil Short is Senior Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager of Short Sharpe Wealth Management at UBS Financial Services. He started his career in 2000 in Scottsdale, AZ before a brief stint at Merrill Lynch and nine years at JPMorgan Chase, both in Austin, TX. He joined UBS with his business partner Jason Sharpe in October of 2015. He has almost two decades of experience in financial planning and portfolio management, achieved throughout his career of dedicated service to his clients.

Neil was born and raised in a small town in Nebraska, where he spent his early years playing every sport offered at his high school. After starring at quarterback for his high school. he attended the University of Nebraska to study Finance, where he also played quarterback for the Cornhuskers as a walk-on. After graduation, Neil moved to Scottsdale for a few years, then to Austin to join his older brother who had also relocated here with his family. In 2010, Neil married his lovely wife Amanda. She pulls triple duty as a realtor, a business owner (Pigtails & Crewcuts franchise), and a full-time mom to their two sons.

Both boys are following in their father's footsteps, each playing multiple sports for the Lake Travis Youth Sports league. Older son Lincoln has spent the past two years excelling at baseball, football, and basketball, and younger son Bentley is in the middle of his first tee-ball season. Of course, Head Coach Neil is on the sideline for each game to cheer on his boys and their teammates. He also serves on the Lake Travis Youth Association board of directors.

In their free time, Neil and Amanda are active in Lake Hills Church in Lakeway, and they participate in its volunteer efforts to feed and clothe underprivileged children around Austin.
