Shayla’s focus is to educate and assist athletes and professionals who face the challenges of sudden wealth and to establish a strong financial foundation through financial planning. As the mother of a recent first round NFL draft selection, she emphasizes the importance of understanding the total financial picture and customizing financial strategies that account for the unique dynamics of an athlete’s career.
Shayla is a graduate of Florida State University where she acquired a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance as well as an MBA from Nova Southeastern University. Collectively, she has over 15 years of experience in financial services, banking, and insurance.
She is also an NFLPA Institutional Player Financial Advisor and holds the FINRA Series 7 and 66 securities licenses as well as the Life, Health, and Variable Annuity licenses.
Shayla is the proud mother of two sons, Kaiir and Aydan.
