Adam Steen is a Senior Vice President, Wealth Advisor, and Portfolio Manager of Bright River Wealth Management Group. With his love for problem solving, it’s no wonder that his career as a Financial Advisor is exactly the right fit. using his gift for relationship building, Adam strives to deliver guidance and advice for all areas of his clients’ financial lives and seeks to earn your trust as a steward for your family wealth and businesses.
Planning is the foundation of Adam’s practice. Using customized strategies for growing, distributing and transitioning wealth, he works with a select group of family relationships. His approach is driven by an understanding of each client’s unique needs and goals, as they depend on him to help them prioritize some of life’s most important financial milestones. Adam has earned the Wealth Advisor designation at UBS, which has deepened his knowledge and insight into the complex financial issues facing affluent families. Notably, for demonstrating exceptional talent and passion for his work and his clients.
Over the past 31 years he has accomplished significant milestones within the field, managing approximately $230,000,000 in liquid client investment assets, as of 2023.
Outside of work, Adam enjoys spending time with his wife and four daughters. As a family, they work together managing and maintaining 320 acres ATFS Certified Tree Farm in Holly Springs, MS. Adam recently completed his Master of Science in Forestry from Mississippi State University. Committed to this land and its stewardship, Adam and his family have learned many valuable lessons about the importance of investing in the future and protecting our natural environment.

Stefan is a Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager of the Bright River Wealth Management Group at UBS Financial Services Inc. Stefan's role on the team is to design strategic and tactical asset allocations for clients based on their financial plan and manage client portfolios. Stefan uses his analytical background to make sense of economic and company data and find investment strategies that help clients achieve their financial goals. He is a CFA charterholder ("Chartered Financial Analyst") and a CAIA charterholder ("Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst"). Stefan is past president of the CFA Society Memphis and a former board member of the Memphis World Trade Club.
Stefan began his career in the financial services industry over 20 years ago with UBS AG in his home country, Switzerland. Stefan moved to Memphis in 2006, where he first worked as a research analyst for a boutique wealth management firm that was started by former Goldman Sachs private wealth advisors. He later joined Merrill Lynch as a financial advisor before joining UBS Financial Services, Inc. a subsidiary of UBS AG in 2012. Stefan studied in the MBA program at Duke University (Fuqua School of Business) where he focused on global asset allocation and stock selection strategies. He earned his undergrad and graduate degrees from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland. Stefan lives in Germantown, TN with his wife and two sons

Will Brown, CRPS®, is a financial advisor focusing on introducing valued relationships to the Bright River Wealth Management Group. Will's diverse background helps him work within multiple areas of the team's practice, primarily focusing on new relationships and helping to build financial plans and implement portfolio strategies based on clients’ changing needs. In 2018, Will was selected as one of the first candidates for UBS' Wealth Management Development Program, which prepares advisors to focus on the needs of High Net Worth and Ultra-High Net Worth clients. Will's training has helped the team create a process to specifically measure a client's needs, thereby creating a plan to prepare for each client's unique situation. He also maintains the Chartered Retirement Plan Specialist, CRPS®, designation from the College for Financial Planning, which keeps him up to date on the latest changes in the evolving regulatory world surrounding individual and corporate retirement plans.
Will graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Music Education in 2017 from Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ, where he regularly performed with world-renowned orchestras, including the New York Philharmonic, Philadelphia Orchestra, Berlin Philharmoniker, as well as recorded and toured with the internationally acclaimed Kantorei and Westminster Choir.
Will is actively involved in his community, and has served on a variety of community service organizations, including the MidSouth Music Institute/CoroRio (President 2022-2024), Kudzu Playhouse (current President), Hernando Rotary Club (President 2022-2023), Krewe of Hernando, Allie Judge (2020-2023) and currently serves on the finance committee of the Community Foundation for Northwest Mississippi. Will served over three years as the Music Director at Hernando Methodist Church, where he and his wife, Katie remain as active members. They enjoy singing together, attending concerts, and watching Ole Miss sporting events.

Sam Carson is the newest, and most seasoned member of the team, bringing in over 40 years of experience in financial services to the team. With a passion for helping clients achieve their financial goals, Sam specializes in crafting personalized investment strategies tailored to each client's unique needs and aspirations. As a trusted advisor, Sam works closely with high-net-worth individuals and families, providing a highly comprehensive wealth management service to each of his clients. Sam leverages his deep understanding of evolving market dynamics and UBS's extensive resources to develop strategic solutions that align with clients' long-term objectives. Sam is committed to delivering exceptional service and building long-lasting relationships based on trust, integrity, and transparency. He takes pride in being a dedicated advocate for his clients, guiding them through various life stages and market cycles to help them navigate complex financial decisions with confidence
Outside of his professional endeavors, Sam is actively involved in his community, volunteering his time and expertise to support various local charitable initiatives and organizations, including being the premiere sponsor for the Kiwanis golf tournament for the last several years. He enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Jan, traveling. golfing with friends and finding new venues to play his guitar.

Jennifer Davey is a Wealth Management Associate for the Bright River Wealth Management team, and she has been with UBS for 16 years. She has a B.S. in Marketing from the University of Memphis. She holds a Series 7 & Series 66 Brokerage Licenses. Jennifer has been in the financial services industry since 1993 and has developed very strong communication and organizational skills. She excels at communication with clients and has a thorough understanding of UBS’ software programs, which enables her and her team’s compliance with recordkeeping requirements.
Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her 14 year-old daughter, Ellyson, particularly attending Ellyson’s lacrosse games and cheering her on. Jennifer also enjoys reading, playing with her dog, Bentley, and she is an active member of Bartlett United Methodist Church.

Client Associate
Becky Bayless is a Client Services Associate for the Bright River Wealth Management Group. She is a retired Licensed Clinical Social Worker who also passed the CPA exam. She spent the last years of her professional career as the Grants Manager for the Regional Medical Center at Memphis where one of her responsibilities were to increase their grant income. Becky developed ideas for grant requests, wrote the proposals and budgets, and accounted for the dollars spent, and reported the productivity and accomplishments of the grant-funded programs.
Becky “failed retirement" and continues to enjoy working part-time, particularly using her strong written and verbal communication skills. At UBS she uses her organizational skills to organize the Financial Advisor’s meeting/call schedules, and most importantly, communicates effectively with a wide variety of clients.
Outside of work, Becky enjoys activities with a wide circle of friends. She is a choir member at her church and is on the Board of Directors for Concerts International. She recently moved to Trezevant Manor and is becoming actively involved in the Trezevant community.
