Howard Woo joined UBS Wealth Management in 2022 from Merrill Lynch where he served as the co-founding partner of his team while simultaneously serving in a senior leadership role. Howard is a founding member of Sequoia Partners at UBS. He has 24 years of experience in comprehensive wealth management and investments for ultra-affluent individuals and families, corporations, endowments, and foundations. He is responsible for equity manager construction, fixed income investing, alternative investments, and asset allocation.
Howard earned his degree in Economics and Business Management from the University of California, Irvine and is a native of Southern California. Howard holds the designation of Certified Private Wealth Advisor ® from the Investment & Wealth Institute and Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor ® from the College of Financial Planning. He holds series 7, 63, 65, 3,31, 9, 10, and insurance licenses.
Howard is also dedicated to serving as a volunteer in community building organizations such as Habitat for Humanity where he served as Treasurer of the Executive Board. He also served on the Board of Directors for the UCLA Scholarship Fund and The El Sol Foundation. He lives in Orange County, CA with his wife and two daughters and enjoys gardening, art design, traveling and spending time with the family on the weekends.

Luke Schell joined UBS in 2022 from Merrill Lynch. As a founding member of Sequoia Partners at UBS, Luke and his team have built a large and well-credentialed boutique-style private wealth management team in Southern California through many years of leadership. An early pioneer of the holistic approach to wealth management, he has continued to cultivate notable client loyalty and responsiveness through implementation of progressive ideas and commitment to clients’ well-being commitment to clients’ well-being.
Luke earned an M.B.A. from the Marshall School of Business at USC. He also earned a B.A. in Economics and a B.S. in Business Administration and a minor in German from USC. Believing in constant learning, he completed the rigorous requirements to attain and maintain the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation. He also holds series 7 and 63 securities and insurance licenses. He enjoys travelling, history, drumming, the culinary arts and outdoor activities.

Cyntia began her career with Bank of America in 2016 where she held the role as a Relationship Manager. She then transitioned to Merrill Lynch in 2020 as the Wealth Management Client Associate for the team.
Cyntia attended Orange Coast College and holds her notary license. She resides in Garden Grove, CA. In her free time, Cyntia enjoys spending time with family and friends while also leading her own book club.
