Since 1993, Jeff has been helping a diverse clientele of business owners, professionals, executives, and their families with all aspects of their financial lives. His background as a commercial lending officer and private banker, combined with his M.B.A., experience as a portfolio manager and his designations as both a Certified Financial PlannerTM (CFP®) professional and Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA®), has given him a rare set of skills and insights that sets him apart from other advisors.

Jeff’s commitment to financial planning comes directly out of his own life experience. Shortly after Jeff finished college, his father suddenly passed away. Because his father had done little financial planning, Jeff was forced into action and quickly took the reins to settle his father’s business and set a plan for his widowed mother. The experience put him on his path as a financial advisor, not only because of his financial acumen but because of his compassionate understanding of the experiences and emotions that play a role in one’s feeling of security and independence.

Originally from Guthrie, OK, Jeff has called Gainesville, FL home since 1974 where he and his wife, Amy, are raising their two children, Kendall and Carson. Outside of work, Jeff enjoys traveling, hiking, scuba diving, and coaching youth athletics.  Jeff's community involvement includes serving on several boards and committees including Haven Hospice, the Community Foundation of North Central Florida and Anthem Community Church. Jeff is a graduate of the Greater Gainesville Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Gainesville program. He has been recognized by the Community Foundation of North Central Florida as an inaugural member of the Door Opener’s Society and received the 2020 Legacy Award for professional advisors.  He was also named the 2020 "Best of the Best" financial advisor by the readers of the Gainesville Sun newspaper.

Kristin serves as the key operations specialist for our team and is responsible for the day-to-day elements of our practice ensuring that our clients' requests are met in a timely and accurate fashion.  She is a true advocate for our clients and assists in developing and maintaining relationships with both internal and external partners as well as our clients' other trusted advisors such as attorneys and tax professionals.  Her goal is to deliver exceptional service and make sure that the clients' needs always come first.

Born and raised in Gainesville, FL, Kristin has strong ties to our community.  She is a graduate of the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Linguistics specializing in communication disorders.  It was while she was attending college that Kristin began her professional career working in the financial services industry as a part-time bank teller.  Her talents and dedication were quickly recognized and she quickly rose through the ranks to a supervisory role responsible for an entire team of tellers.  Shortly thereafter, Kristin was promoted to the role of a personal banker who worked directly with both individual and business clients.  Kristin's attention to detail and focus on service was helpful as she assisted clients with their cash management and financing needs.

Outside of work, Kristin continues to help others whenever she can.  She is passionate about helping improve the lives of others, particularly when it comes to students.  Kristin has served as a mentor at High Springs Community School, participated in the Food4Kids Backpack Program of North Florida, and has volunteered with the Reading Program at Myra Terwilliger Elementary School.  In her free time, Kristin loves to spend time with her husband and son.  They enjoy the outdoors and you can often find them fishing or kayaking on the rivers and along the coastline of North Florida.
