Jason leads the team's advisory and lending practices and focuses on serving the needs of business owners, aspiring investors, and high net worth individuals and their families. He has proudly obtained the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA) designations which he leverages to help maximize outcomes for The Sabaugh Group's clients.
He earned a B.S. in Business Administration from The University of Southern California and currently holds his Series 6, 7, 63, & 66 securities licenses as well as his life, health & annuity insurance licenses.
Jason resides in Newport Beach, CA, with his wife, Jillian, and their three children, Malone, Franklin & Clementine.
Sam joined UBS in 1982 and has the distinction of spending his entire career with UBS. He is the senior member of the team. Sam provides comprehensive estate and multigenerational financial planning. In addition to serving private clients, Sam also serves qualified retirement plans. He holds the series 7, 3, 5 63 and 65 securities licenses. Sam and his wife, Sue, reside in Leawood, Kansas.
Mike joined UBS in 1987 and has the distinction of spending his entire career with UBS. Mike specializes in all phases of retirement planning including accumulation and distribution phases. Mike is a graduate of Western Michigan University and is a Michigan native. He holds the series 7, 31, 63 & 65 securities licenses. Mike and his wife, Rashell, reside in Leawood, Kansas.
Ryan joined UBS in 2019 and became a member of The Sabaugh Group as a Financial Advisor in 2014. He began his career with UBS developing retirement and estate expertise, becoming a specialist supporting advisory teams. Ryan is eager to become a candidate for CFP certification and deliver personalized planning solutions to The Sabaugh Group’s clients.
He earned a B.S. in Finance and a B.S. in Economics from Missouri State University and currently holds the Series 7 & 66 securities licenses as well as life, health & annuity insurance licenses.
Ryan and his wife, Abbi, reside in Kansas City, Missouri with their son, George.
Danielle joined The Sabaugh Group in May 2025, but she is no stranger to UBS, previously working for a team in Northbrook, IL, since 2018 and before that in Plano, Texas since 2013. She began her career at Merrill Lynch in 2005, earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in 2011, and the Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU®) designation in 2021. On a day-to-day basis Danielle oversees all the administrative operations for the team and utilizes her years of experience to provide tailored solutions to meet the needs of each individual client.
Danielle and her husband, Ryan, are excited to make the move to the Overland Park, KS area with their daughter, Lauren, and dog, Cooper.
June joined PaineWebber in 1988, the predecessor Firm to UBS Financial Services. June is a Senior Registered Client Service Associate, and holds her Series 7, 63 and 65 Securities Licenses, in addition to her Insurance License. June has extensive experience in the financial services industry.
June understands the importance of providing exceptional client service, based on integrity, reliability and professionalism. She is responsible for all client service requests and day-to-day operations.
June enjoys travelling, volunteering, needlepointing and spending time with friends.
Derek is the newest member of the Sabaugh Group and aspires to start his career in advising at UBS. He attained his B.S. in Communications at the University of Kansas in 2019. His employment experience includes 3 years of customer service specializing in banking and insurance. He is currently in the process of obtaining his Series 7,63 & 65 licenses to become the next advisor on the team.
