Ryan joined UBS in Billings, Montana in 2025 bringing nearly 20 years of Wealth Management experience. He was previously with Ashton Thomas.
Community is and always has been an important part of Ryan’s life. A Montana native, he grew up in Bridger. Ryan treasures the work ethic, memories, and relationships formed while playing basketball and baseball as a young man. He attended Montana State University in Billings, graduating with a B.S. in Business Administration and Information Systems.
During college, Ryan worked for Wells Fargo, previewing his financial services career. After a few years working in the Montana state government’s Department of Revenue post-graduation, he returned to Wells Fargo as a Project Manager and then moved into a junior advisor role in his father-in-law’s financial advisory practice. The rest, as they say, is history.
“Clients have told me they appreciate my reliability,” says Ryan. “Money management has become somewhat of a commodity. The service you provide and the time and attention you give to building client relationships are the true diversifiers.” Ryan is focused on understanding what a client needs their money to do and then helping identify and implement solutions which help them attain their goals. “From education planning, to tithing, to retirement, it all needs to be considered as part of their financial plan.”
Ryan married his wife, Molly, in 2005. Their son, Porter, was born in 2007 and currently attends St. Francis. The family enjoys traveling domestically and internationally when able. They also love the great outdoors and spend a good amount of their free time in the East Rosebud area enjoying the scenic beauty of Big Sky Country.
