Experience

Makes all the difference

David "Doc" Rose, CRPC

First Vice President–Investments

Portfolio Manager

David (Doc) Rose says he came upon his financial services career by accident. But if you believe that for everything there's a reason, you will know that David's choices and the impact he's made on the lives and financial well-being of his clients is hardly an accident. All roads in David's life, from his father's early social work influences to his education in history & economics and to each career touch point along the way, have led him to his current position as a Director and Portfolio Manager at UBS.

A true American success story David’s passion for learning, combined with relentless hard work, has paid off. He attended Fordham University in the evenings earning his bachelor’s degree, then while raising a family went to graduate school to earn a master's degree in management & leadership at East Stroudsburg University. Although his entire career has been spent at Wall Street firms, David worked for many years on various trading desks before working in the branch. This experience provided him with insights into portfolio construction and market understanding that have benefited his clients over the years. With David's help and understanding, his clients gained the confidence to stay the course and ride out difficult markets while building a strong and loyal bond with him.

Though David's knowledge is reflected in his work, it is his love of people and helping them succeed that really defines his practice. Along with his Client Service Associate Diana, David strives to create a family-type experience that keeps clients actively engaged and often inspires them to refer friends & colleagues.

David and his wife of nearly 30 years, Denise, live in Roxbury, NJ with their puppy Rosie and have three grown children: David, Julianne & Andrew. They love their family life, being outdoors and spending time at the beach.
