Senior Wealth Strategy Associate
John serves as a Senior Wealth Strategy Associate and Authorized Officer at UBS Private Wealth Management. With a strong focus on personalized service, John partners with Robert Stoker on complex investment strategies and planning that align with each client’s unique goals. John specializes in tailored investment strategies and portfolio construction plans, while offering advice in all financial planning, as well as assisting clients with banking & lending solutions alongside UBS Private Banking members. John plays a central role in ongoing portfolio management, and works closely with clients to build detailed planning analyses and goal-based strategies to support long-term financial success. In addition to his client work, John plays a key role in managing and mentoring team associates, fostering a collaborative environment.
Prior to joining UBS, John worked with Robert Stoker at Bernstein Private Wealth Management, where he co-lead a team of Associates supporting the Wealth Management practice. Prior to Bernstein, John was an Analyst at Spruce Lake Partners, a small Private Equity firm in Denver, Colorado. John graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder, with a B.S.B.A with dual emphases in Finance and Accounting and a Minor in Economics.
In John’s free time, he enjoys exercising, skiing, traveling, watching basketball, and spending time with friends and family.
Client Associate
Sophie joined UBS as a Client Associate in 2024 after graduating from the University of British Columbia where she majored in Finance. During her studies, Sophie gained professional experience working as an Intellectual Property Intern at a boutique law firm as well as a Finance and Accounting Intern at a biotech company.
Sophie has a special interest in Investment Policy, which focuses on the construction and analysis of financial models to evaluate portfolio returns. Her ability to incorporate technical financial theories, along with her aptitude in a relationship-based role, led Sophie to pursue a career in wealth management.
In her free-time, Sophie enjoys traveling, swimming, surfing, rock climbing, and learning new languages.
